Or the glitch on the top of the screen on "photos" when you switch between "library" and "collection".

This happens with motion on. With motion off, it's all good.

I have this from lots of early versions and betas...

I just had a look on mine (16 Pro) and all I can see is that, when switching from Library to Collections the fading of the top row of pictures is removed, so the pictures are shown at 100% intensity for a fraction of a second, before it switches to Collections.

I like the design, very clean and aesthetic , but it needs to be polished like iOS 7 to be USEFUL.

I don't want to, don't care about any features it brings, but I think I finally have to let my 16Pro install it, since I'm on 18.2 and they aren't pushing those remote exploit fixes to anything I can install other than 26.x.

It knows what key you've pressed and it changes it anyway. YouTubers have done high-speed camera recordings and it shows iOS acknowledging the correct key press, but changing it to something else in the letter and producing an incorrectly spelled word.

This is definitely something Apple has changed, because it did not used to be like this.

Turn off autocomplete, and it actually gets worse. Much worse.

Back when I upgraded to 26.0 I started having issues with CarPlay over Bluetooth. (No issues with CarPlay using USB.) The worst one was when I tried searching for something in Maps I would get that spinning icon. (Please see the screenshot.) It would start working after a few minutes. Similarly, I also had issues with the Pandora app taking several minutes before it started working.

Since upgrading to 26.3 those issues have gone away. Hopefully, they won't come back.🤞

Anyone else wallpaper broken. I set many different pictures and the problem I’m having it the Home Screen icons IGNORE whatever setting I put and basically are just black and hard to read . Had to just use the result weather setup for home and wallpaper for now

CarPlay is still ****ed. The worst bug I’ve experienced in 15 years of owning an iPhone.

Third party head deck or new car? CarPlay in in 26 is by FAR the best version yet for me to date (Toyota Alphard with upgraded non OEM head deck/screen.) Connects much quicker, no drop outs and the interface is massively cooler looking. CarPlay previously felt like a poor cousin of TVOS i.e. a fugly accessibility screen on max zoom! Now in 26 CarPlay finally looks like an extension of my phone.

Yes, lock screen weather works but wallpaper all black and can’t read. Apple told me it’s being reported by others, and to wait for an update.

Installed it last night, spent a couple hours looking through Settings and turning junk off.

Very much a collection of annoyances. I have Reduce Motion turned on, of course, but that no longer appears to stop the OS from popping notifications and the like. The added animation is incredibly annoying... Reduce Motion used to remove that, and now it doesn't. Is there a new control somewhere?

I have Notifications set to Stack, but twice now on the lock screen the OS has decided to put a count line on the bottom of the screen and not display any notifications, but when that count was tapped, the stacked list appeared. Is this yet another bug? The one app I allow to do Live Activities (Transit) was also on the screen, was that why the broken Notifications behavior? Live Activities are pretty useless, so turning the one off would be no big deal.

I'm sorry that I ever upgraded to 26.x from 18.x.

CarPlay has been an absolute cluster**k. I was driving across a few states after upgrading and it was always so much fun to lose BT connectivity every so often--especially when I was asking for a gas station or a restaurant. I hoped every point upgrade would bring a fix and 26.1 finally allowed me to even connect my phone to my aftermarket Pioneer deck. In troubleshooting, I tried to completely disconnect and re-add it and it then it refused to even see my 16 Pro Max until 26.1. Now it still disconnects every so often, but the worst of it is no Siri voice over directions/prompts now. This is the best that it's worked since I upgraded to 26.

I wish Tim would just hurry up and resign and let someone that actually gives a **** to run the company and to beef up the test teams because I don't know what they hell they're doing, but it ain't testing. I don't really care about weather wallpapers--I want an OS that's bulletproof secure and smooth as buttah.

Say what you will about Steve, but I fondly remember the days when he was taking the prototype to his kids' soccer games to test it--then he would get the engineering teams up at night reporting bugs HIMSELF. Tim Apple is too busy selling out the company at the White House these days to care about the customers or the products. I'm starting to think that this is 1996 instead of 2026.

Oh yes, the bug that causes the charging current to keep increasing instead of decreasing as you approach the charging limit is still there! Look at "Battery Charge" and "Charging With".

The unit of measurement is not current (mA / A) but watts (mw/W) ... thus this is not a bug. Watts is calculated by multiplying voltage by current. So with a fixed charge current, and the battery voltage increasing, the effective charge wattage increases. What is more important is what it does after reaching the artificial charge cap? Because it is artificial... i.e. rather. than letting the charge management circuitry charge normally, where it would charge the battery up to full voltage, and then slowly ramp down the current, the firmware effectively just stops the charge process at the designated state of charge limit. Is it a hard cut through, or does it ramp down though? With other non-apple devices, I'm pretty sure it is a hard cut.
