I agree that there are far more important things to worry about in life. What is unbelievable though is the time and effort Apple puts into pride wallpapers, yet they fail badly at addressing issues that have been hampering our devices for a long time.Folks complaining about an OPTIONAL wallpaper they don't have to select makes me laugh, cringe, and SMH all at the same time. They must go crazy when anything MUCH more important happens in the world.
Seriously, I'm sure John is saying the same thing to investors. Can’t wait until Tim leaves the building.
Yes, they should take that designer and put them to work on fixing bugs in the code.I agree that there are far more important things to worry about in life. Thank you. that seems to have fixed it. Strange, it started right after the update to26.5 yesterday, which requires a complete reboot. Anyway, issue solved. thanksNot univerally broken. I just tried that and it works fine. I suspect something else is going on with your device. You might start with a reboot to get things synced up again.
I think sometimes after a software update, not everything loads correctly or at the right time and a second restart can clear that up.Thank you. that seems to have fixed it. Strange, it started right after the update to26.5 yesterday, which requires a complete reboot. Anyway, issue solved. thanks
Bill Gates? Is that you?you don't really have any control over it. imagine getting upset over some ads and risk your security.
I totally and completely agree with you!as a card carrying homosexual, I don't like this Pride wallpaper either. In fact, the last few Pride wallpapers have seemed very uninspired. I don't know who they think this benefits... you're Apple ffs, if you've lost the ability to make engaging wallpapers (which is not hard, see unsplash.com) just maybe don't... I will continue to be a degenerate either way
also standard grumbles about HOW the **** has it really taken so long to put out the new Siri, and why do I feel like it's still going to be a disappointment? **** if it wasn't for the hardware kickassery on the Mac side I would have essentially totally lost faith in the idea that all the freedom I sacrifice is worth it....
Security Fixes
iOS 26.5 addresses more than 50 vulnerabilities, so it's a good idea to update as soon as possible to get the latest protections. None of the vulnerabilities are known to have been actively exploited.
Thanks. I've been using Maps.me for years all over the world. After a bit of research I found "Organic Maps was forked from the original Maps.me open-source codebase by former Maps.me developers who disagreed with the commercial direction it took. Organic Maps is the privacy-focused, ad-free successor to what Maps.me used to be, while Maps.me has become bloated with ads and tracking"I gave Organic Maps a try driving home. It’s ok for basic navigation but it had no traffic indicators which meant the time estimate got longer and longer due to my car sitting in traffic. Also it gave me one route only and kept rerouting instead of changing to my needs. Oh well maybe in the car I won’t see ads in Apple Maps.
