This update must be for non 17 Pro models? nothing showing up for my 17 Pro here in the USA, AT&T. oops I see this is the beta...

Never seen that, sounds like a hardware issue.
It's the content going away, force quit app or switch to landscape and it fixes the issue. happens with Mail, Safari, Phone apps, never happens on third party apps, not a hardware issue, has happened since day one with 26 for me

About 24 hours later and everything is smooth, have they finally fixed the performance issues? lol time will tell but running really good.
Wow you’re actually sounding very positive about 26.6.1! Lol.

I agree, definitely some performance improvements! Everything feels fast, super slick and smooth across the board. I won’t be jumping on the iOS 27 beta train just yet!

The “device setup” completed in about a day or two and battery life is now very good. Everything is smooth and fast, no issues for my typical usage.
What's "device setup" completed? Do you mean the message in the battery stats screen in settings where they inform that batteryperformance may be affected due to post processing?

I never had the device setup in battery stats saying battery life/performance may be affected whilst it completes.

I agree. 26.6 on my 17PM was heating up and had some lag. This beta is noticeably smoother and my phone is running cooler.

Yeah same.
Maybe its cuz you guys started off with iOS 26 and didn't upgrade from 18?

I remember getting the infoscreen in the battery section when updating from iOS 18 to iOS 26 and have a vague memory seeing it on a lager 26.x update. But it went away in less than a day on the 18 > 26 move. I might even had a screensshot of it 🤔

Edit: Found the screenshot. THis is from the 12th of december so it's prob when I moved from iOS 18 to 26 on my main device.

Yeah that’s it but I’ve never seen that coming from my 17 Pro Max that came with iOS 26.

Not too bad at all for the first day following the update.

A mix of WiFi and 4/5G. Haven’t used the camera much today so that’s helped.

Here is the bug im referring to about bottom third of screen content going missing, happened with Maps today. I am on 26.6.

Also, whenever you select a business or any result in Maps, the name of the result is missing, until you start swiping up on it, then the name slowly appears. You can see this in my screenshots also. Has happened for all of 26 for me since getting the 17 Pro.

Yes it is post processing but exactly what that means is vague. For what it is worth I came from 18 to 26.4 when it was released then every 26 version since. 16PM.
