iOS 26.6 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Just a note of detail on the looping app update issue: I was running the stable branch when this began, so the problem has nothing to do with the beta - and the problem continues

Although I did see the eBay app update on my end, I was only prompted the one time and all has been well since.

If you manually refresh the App Store, eBay doesn't show as Update again on your device?

I think there’s something wrong with eBay and it’s not related to 26.6 beta. Even after manually deleting eBay app and reinstalling it, it still shows as update every time I pull down to refresh.

Nope. It updated and now it's just shows as have been updated....

That's why I said not related to the beta as I'm on 26.5.1 as well.

Nothing to with this beta. I had the issue running 26.5.1. eBay app still reappearing after updating for me. Its the only app to fail for me.

Also happening to me on the Tesla and Splashtop apps.

I hope so. We are exactly 2-weeks from beta 1 and still have not received Beta 2.

I imagine Apple is dealing with everyone loving OS 27 beta 1 that those on 26 are using a broken OS.

26.6 should be the definitive update that fixes EVERYTHING with OS 26, preparing everyone for 27 in September.

For Betas 2, 3 & 4 [maybe beta 5] they follow a 2-week schedule. Once we hit late July - early August it starts being weekly leading up to full release in September.

Given that we are cycling between OS 27 beta and 26.6 beta, the releases between could be delayed until they are synchronized.

Either way, I'd expect beta 2 on the week of the 22nd

Ok currently stuck on beta 1 as usb c port doesn’t work so can’t downgrade, hopefully new beta soon
