I never understood people using alarms to wake up or AirTags for losing things. How can you lose things? Just put them every time at the same spot, it’s not that complicated. And waking up for me it’s automatic but my mom always said I was special. Go figure.

Tyranny? Really? Back in the pre-electronic days an alarm clock rang just once, no snooze, no tyranny. We survived just fine.
I’m sorry, I lived back then too, but:

Might depend on the person, but I agree. I haven’t used an alarm clock in maybe 20 years.

off topic tip?
I have the luxury of going to my office when I get there (which means I end up later than other leaving), but as a night owl I love staying up late. I keep hoping that they will add a "sunrise" option for what time the alarm goes off. I decided yesterday to see if I could make it work myself
Shortcuts → Automation → run shortcut 15 minutes before sunrise → (the shortcut is start a 15 minute timer).
I'm guessing the new Siri will do that for you soon. 🤣

But seriously, shortcuts needs drastic improvements. Often so difficult to do things.

It is infuriating to snooze twice, and then the alarm rings again at the uneven 8:18am. WTF? What is my OCD self supposed to do with those 2 minutes?

It takes years for Apple to fix most things. But I am glad my descendants will have a slightly better user experience.

It’s like toilet paper, I’ve never understood how people don’t always have those magical wipeless bowl movements like I always have. And don’t get me started on folks who use microwaves.

It’s the best time for snooze customisation ever. We’re very proud of this, all part of our brand new liquid glass interface. It’s magical!

I sure hope they do this to Focus>DoNotDisturb as well. The one hour choice isn't granular enough. 30/60/90 choices would be great.

I can't understand people who hit the snooze button. I never snooze. Why would I want to relive the worst part of my day over and over?

This is why I look forward to the weekends. I wake up when I wake up.
