Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Spotify in CarPlay, and probably Spotify in general when on cellular, is constantly going in offline mode. Anyone else experiencing this? I never used to see this prior to beta 2, and now its happening constantly, even on a restart.
I have this or at least that symptom, but also occurred for me with beta 1. Posted a writeup in the CarPlay forum/thread. Basically the music pauses/silences for a sec or 2 then continues, but not gracefully like when you get a text or driving notification, it skips over the part that was silent. almost like someone tapped a mute/stutter key. It's also unpredictable, it happens pretty much every time I'm playing Spotify in car, but no pattern I can detect. I'm using wireless CarPlay from an iPhone16pro (ios26b2) thru a 'magiclink' dongle in a 2016 eGolf car.

The all glass look for the icons is really growing on me ,
Just noticed Facebook have updated their app icon with the more glassy look compared to Apples icons, design asthetics are subjective but I personally like the more translucent appearance that FB have went with, don’t get me wrong the control center in beta 1 was horrific but since there’s nothing under app icons I think it works well here.View attachment 2523388
I think it’s because apple use gradients, so the icons are more frosted on top as a replacement to gradients. Facebook if I’m not mistaken uses solid background, so no need to texture it.

I don’t have that problem with either Spotify or Apple Music, but I have wireless CarPlay in a 2025 model car. No third party dongle.

Folks,

My iPhone primary language is English (US). And it was the only language set up in my iPhone, And all of sudden, this happened to me (see pics). This language was inserted as an additional language on my settings. I deleted the language, but the language didn’t change in the context menus. Any thoughts? (Yes, I set the main language to another language (Spanish) and got back to English and still getting this language (I don’t know which language is this) - I even included the context menu when inserting the photos on this post…
[edit] - it only affects Safari context menus. Everything else is in English on my 16PM…

As a developer using a developer beta, I hope you reported that. I haven't seen any reports, although I haven't been actively looking for them either.
I had same issue and reported it. iPhone set to charge to 85%, only goes to mid 70s and gets hot! Plugging in for now.

I’m glad you posted that. I created several threads here and on another forum that Assistive Touch isnt working. I’ve gotten no response, I was thinking no one uses Assistive Touch. I know it’s not working for taking screenshots, but I’m wondering if you assign another function to the virtual button does it work? Anyway, I did submit feedback with a sysdiagnose file that it wasn’t working.

I've mentioned it too. Especially the screenshot not working in AssistiveTouch nor in Back Tap. I reported it in the Feedback app.

Same. Literally cannot charge my phone to full - it heats up and throttles charging before it gets over 80%
Which phone? With Messages and stuff like that, my 12 Pro Max runs cool. With surfing it sometimes is cool but often warms up somewhat. With CarPlay navigation and music streaming simultaneously it can get very warm, and if I wireless charge on top of that at the same it will get pretty hot.

16 Pro.

Update: think a reboot fixed it. Screen shut off last night after setup/going to sleep.

Phone hard plugged in usb-c at night while listening to music, SiriusXM. Screen doesn’t auto shutoff. Two nights in a row. Same goes when alarm goes off in the morning per snooze, haha. Screen stays on. Have to turn it off myself.
