Sorry, but if you don’t already know how to do it and aren’t aware of the potential issues going backwards then I highly recommend staying where you’re at.

I’m liking the new Silence Spam Callers. I get one every few days and now they don’t even ring, while unknown callers can still get through.

When using the app organizer in CarPlay, if going in more than once the installed apps all disappear and only the uninstalled apps show.
Rebooting the phone brings them back temporarily.

Really enjoying that AutoMix now works with AirPlay speakers! They nailed this feature!
It works for you? For me I have to keep hitting play because every track pauses about 30 seconds in. Also one time there were two tracks playing simultaneously (not mixing, just playing). Seems buggy but maybe I’ll give it another shot.

After charging your phone to 100 percent and using it for a while…..does anyone else notice, that your phone will say it has for example, 98 percent battery and then you reset it and it’s down to 92 percent? Then if you reset it again; it says 92 percent again. This leads me to believe the battery calibration is wrong in beta 4 by about 6 percent. It happened twice today when I tested it. I’m on 15 pro. Just curious if anyone else is seeing this.

Edit: Just did it again and it went from 92 percent to 88 percent. Very weird and annoying.

Instability and bugs in iOS are an issue, but in addition to that, some apps don't work right or at all with it. I use iOS 26 as my daily driver, but for example two of my mobile carrier account apps don't work. The KLM airline app doesn't work either, which is a pain since I'm flying KLM in a few weeks. Furthermore, one of my banking apps keeps asking that I authenticate with my other device with it installed, except that it's only installed on that one device. It seems that when I upgraded to iOS 26, my bank thought I had installed the app on a new device. Mind you that banking app didn't work at all until it was updated around the time beta 3 came out. With the older version on beta 1 and 2, it would just fail.

Inconvenient, but you could use websites for both KLM and your bank while they are sorting themselves out.

That's what I'm doing, but for KLM I don't get the notifications and what not, and have to relogin every time. Usually with the apps (at least with other airlines), it stays logged in.

Yeah I liked that too. Unfortunately a bug means that even if I turn it all off, no calls at all goes through. Even when they are in my contacts. Missed calls from mechanic, the bank and a few others bc of that. No calls, just a notification that I missed a call. Had to revert to iOS 18 bc of that. And it looks so outdated now…

Is anyone else experiencing this strange app icon behaviour?
Some icons randomly switch back to light mode when placed inside a folder and the folder is minimized. I’ve noticed this happening specifically with the Teams and Telegram apps.

Long audio recordings in the Messages app are back to taking forever to send because they’re being transcribed again.

Beta 1, Beta 2, and Beta 3 were great because they’d removed the transcription and super lengthy messages (10-15 min long) would send immediately. Now that the transcription feature has returned, it takes forever for long messages to send. Boo.

Worked great for the 30 minutes I used it yesterday. AirPlay itself was a little buggy but the auto mic feature not.

It’s been happening since beta 1 and it was also happening in previous years. Beta life.

I need to fill my passcode more often.
Am I the only one?
Now that you mention it, I feel like I’m having the opposite experience, and having to enter my passcode much less frequently than on iOS 18 since installing at beta 2. It was something that had been annoying me for quite some time on 18 the last few months.

Same thing happening here with a few apps. I’ve also noticed they still don’t fix themselves if you switch from dark mode to light mode and back to dark. Once the bug occurs, the icons are still always showing light mode when the folder is minimized.

Woke up this am to find numerous messages going back months showing in messages.
Yay, I’m not alone! Though mine went back almost 3 years. What seemed to trigger it was updating my iPad to B4, as they appeared in my iPhone right after that update. They also appeared on my Mac, then reappeared on my iPad after I’d deleted from my iPhone and Mac. Hopefully the gremlin is now extinguished
