My watch updated fine but, Christ, the updates take forever. Between initially hitting “download” and the thing finally finishing the install, it took a good hour. For some reason my Watch won't show the update. It's asking to try again. Somebody else got this issue?
Yup. This definitely is the most annoying beta part for me this year. Lots of stuttering (opening apps, scrolling in Safari) on my 14 Pro. Really needs lots more tweaking before September… (although it’s already a little bit better on B5).This frame-rate jitter/stutter appears to be very annoying. [based on user reports] Especially when we're 30 days from OS release and new phone release.
Beta 6 next week must be the definitive fix. Otherwise this is the most insane forced obsolete i've ever seen.
Only in the share sheet. Same icon in finder or settings. Odd miss.Airdrop has a new icon
SameWhat about liquid glass?
More glass?
same as before?
or (worst) less than before?
Same. I don’t get it.Still dealing with icon redraws when swiping homescreens. Sigh.
30-40minHow long do you think it'd take to install on an iPhone 16 Pro Max coming from iOS 18.5?
Its downloaded, but if I do it now I need it to be done before I leave work.
Same here, seems almost 100% fixed. For me so far no problems whatsoever. Had it really bad on beta 4
Same I'd say, but it adapts much quicker to the background, that's nice. Still not perfect. What about liquid glass?
More glass?
same as before?
or (worst) less than before?
Yes - same issue16PM, Calculator crashes when trying to change currency
Anyone else?
They shouldn’t designed the new model switch with conflicting interactions modelsit is pretty complicated and problematic bc there are two different logic to it:
-a button is a button and to scroll you swipe to the next button
but
-for years Apple was pushing swiping pages in the opposite direction, it is present for swiping tabs in Safari, and in camera app you can swipe in the center of the screen and not in the buttons area, from that perspective opposite direction and swiping pages makes more sense
at the end it is all about your brain and if you see swiping those damn buttons as pages or just as buttons.
I think the toggle is a good workaround.
It is on iPhone, however on iPad it’s not there when going into a mailbox folder (junk, bin etc) but is in the main inbox view. The dedicated Select button in Mail is back! Having to use the dropdown menu every time I needed to boot a bunch of emails into the spam bin was starting to drive me up a wall.
