Again, the day one update could just be equivalent to current build from whatever they got at the factory which is likely to be older than 26.0.1.
The day one update/build was released today; it's 26.0.1. If there is a 26.0.2 update coming, why didn't Apple just have that be the day one update?

On the 22nd, users will be updating their new devices to 26.0.1...and historically, Apple has released the x.1 update the last week in October. I don't think Apple will be pushing out three updates within a week.

What would 26.0.2 include anyway? Are there still show stopper bugs that are preventing users from using or setting up their new iPhones?

The last beta wasn't even an "a" build. I guess they will release B4 next week and maybe RC in the same week? If not, we could see 26.1 on 3rd November.

Exactly, which means Apple can still release 26.0.2 any time before that. I would not expect 26.1 beta 4 and RC in the same week, though, so I guess we will have:

20-21 Oct - iOS 26.1 Beta 4
27-28 Oct - RC
3 Nov - iOS 26.1 goes public.
