I believe it's extremely likely
I’m thinking hardware announcements at 11am. That’s what I recall happened with m4 MacBook Pro tooI would be happy to be wrong and get 26.0.2 today, but I am still feeling like this will align to new hardware. I could see 26.1 beta 3 today (public). Since we didn't see any hardware announcements, I don't think we get 26.0.2 today.
I think next week. Seems like they are preparing a revised version of 26.0.1 which could be released for the upcoming new iPads or they prepare it for the Air release in China which is also happening this week.26.0.2 today
... really sounds weird - but as stated in the article maybe only for the new iPad ... not for devices already having 26.0.1 installed.I think next week. Seems like they are preparing a revised version of 26.0.1 which could be released for the upcoming new iPads or they prepare it for the Air release in China which is also happening this week.

im thinking maybe they will skip 26.0.2. isnt 26.1 coming in like 2 weeks?
If 26.0.2 would come this week there wouldn’t be a need to release a revised version of 26.0.1.... really sounds weird - but as stated in the article maybe only for the new iPad ... not for devices already having 26.0.1 installed.

Because 26.0.2 isn't ready. They'll stick with 26.0.1 till next week when .0.2 comes out. This does not make sense. Why re-release a 26.0.1 when they can go straight to 26.0.2 and then 26.1 a few weeks later?
Because 26.0.2 isn't ready. They'll stick with 26.0.1 till next week when .0.2 comes out.
Presumably the new iPads won’t actually ship/release for a week anyway, so they’re hardly going to reissue 26.0.1 this week for announced devices that won’t actually be in customers hands for a week if not longer. How do we know it is not ready for its primary purpose, which is supporting the new devices for a short while?
New 26.0.1 build could just be device-specific build new devices ship with and not be a "re-release" for all devices. 26.0.2 can still release today.Because 26.0.2 isn't ready. They'll stick with 26.0.1 till next week when .0.2 comes out.
I think new build numbers for 26.0.1 simply coincide with what is loaded at factory. Simple as that. 26.0.2 can simply be an OTA for them during setup or after.Presumably the new iPads won’t actually ship/release for a week anyway, so they’re hardly going to reissue 26.0.1 this week for announced devices that won’t actually be in customers hands for a week if not longer.
Don’t forget, the 20th might be most probably 26.1 RC or b4 if they stick to their scheduleI don’t know or care about 26.1 but I assume 26.0.2 will come the 20th or 21st
I am assuming they won’t release 26.0.2 and 26.1 in such close proximity to eachother. At least a week in between them. I think there’s only been one instance where there was evidence they were testing a point update that they ultimately did not release - and even then I’m not sure I’m remembering correctly.Don’t forget, the 20th might be most probably 26.1 RC or b4 if they stick to their schedule
