I’m going off what is on X and MacRumors. Some are saying slider and some saying toggle. Haven’t seen a screenshot yet but we’ll see soon enough!

I don’t know why people are complaining about this. I’m going to have it on max glass lol but apples giving choice. People have to complain about something I guess.
It's more of a toggle than a slider.

Literally as I was just viewing this thread my iPhone just comepletley crashed and respringed again. The current iOS is unstable Walmart quality software. We need 26.0.2

I have not had a single respring or crash across my 5 iOS devices. Not saying it didn't happen to you, but there is likely something else causing it. Besides graphical bugs/glitches, I've had no usability issues on iPhone or iPad. I would not call iOS 26 "unstable."

I also had a respring a few days ago on my 16PM. First time after many many years that it happened to me.

Do you remember what you were doing when it happened? I'd be curious to know if it was an iOS respring or an app that caused a system crash. I've had both happen in the past, just not on iOS 26. iOS 12.X was notorious for resprings. It was respringing almost daily for me. iOS 17.0 also had a respring issue when using MagSafe chargers.

I was on my home screen so nothing special. No navigation and stuff.

There is a new version of iPad OS 26.0.1 on the Dev Site with today’s timestamp

I wonder if we will see the RC faster than expected. The current cycle feels too long somehow. I feel like we will get the final Public release of 26.1 sometime next week.
