The trends go against this coming this week. The last time we had a short period of time between X.2 beta 1 and 2 was iOS 13. I think we are looking at early next week. After iOS 13, the shortest days between beta 1 and 2 have been 12 days.

It's interesting that we have gotten back into late day releases when they were traditionally earlier in the day. Maybe Apple is changing some release patterns.

Perhaps I have misunderstood your intent, but it seems to me that your comment implies that the release was late on purpose. I expect it's more likely that unforeseen circumstances necessitated that late release; early day releases might well still be the preference, when they are feasible.

All I was trying to say is Apple for a while didn't really seem to use that later day window. Now we have had a few times that lately they have. So all I am trying to say is I wonder if they are shifting the release cadence. It also could be completely no applicable and them scrambling to stay on schedule. It just will be interesting to see how this continues in the weeks and months to come.

If like most X.2 releases we only get to beta 4 and we are on a weekly schedule already then should we expect a release around the 1st December?
