Hm... 1st look on iPadOS .. some icons look a bit blurrier than before? But I am not sure if my vision tricks me...

I see the same graphical glitches than before. Yes, even the loading spinner in softwareupdates are not centered yet. Will test further and then begin to write a few feedback reports.

Not sure if this is new but it now shows specific call outs to the different features of ChatGPT to see what your over for

My early impression is that performance does seem smoothier...especially if still indexing and running post-install processes. Just went throug a few apps in my 16 Pro Max and it seems greatly improved, wasn't expecting this in a Beta 2.

Still will need more testing, but first impressions about this Beta are very positive.

16P update A-OK, 15PM I had to turn IOS Developer Bata off then back on to get B2 update. 16P I did NOT have to do that.

Hey, has anyone heard anything solid about changes to the lock screen in iOS 26? I’ve seen a few random mentions but nothing clear. Curious what you all are expecting or hoping for.

I don’t know about you guys but I think this years dev betas have been pretty stable. Aside from performance issues, I’ve had minimal hiccups and hard stop bugs on my iPhone 15P/ iPad Mini / watch Ultra or my Mac Studio (M1). It’s strange because the I’m used to having big performance issues etc.

Hopefully we will get to performance improvement sooner this year, maybe after Beta 3?

Maybe! Or maybe it gets worse on b3 and we get some relief with b4 lol

It's always a crapshoot this early on.

Last year was pretty similar too, over the years the beta’s seem much more stable.

Yeah, I’ve been on the iPadOS developer betas since the beginning of the iPadOS 17 beta cycle, and I’ve never encountered any major issues so far. I think the betas are getting more stable. 👍🏻

Probably a slim chance, 18.6 beta 2 will be this upcoming week. iOS 26 beta 3 will be some time the week of the 7th.
Just listened to the latest Gruber podcast and he said that the betas were in a really bad shape just before the keynote and that he thinks they will rapidly improve the beta software over the summer so an early weekly beta acceleration is not completely out of the question 😉
