iOS 26: Tint App Icons to Precisely Match Your iPhone Case Color

Matched my blue beats case perfectly:

I went back to the full color icons like five minutes later.

I wonder if it is for the Beats cases and not the Apple cases. Mine is the blue Techwoven case and it definitely did not attempt to match the case. However, like you, after playing with the tint I went back to full color icons.

Tried it with some apple cases and the color doesn’t match at all. It ends up looking like faded colors of what the case is. Looks pretty terrible.

I have one of the beats cases shown in the image and it doesn't seem to work.

Now trying to change the tint just made all my icons disappear! 😂

Again. Apple put more effort on cosmetic things than fixing sma wood bugs or introducing new functions.

Like not becos the cost for new functions (or tweaking) are higher, but cosmetic things can sell!

Fun to try it out. However not getting the case from Apple this year as the clear case does not cover the camera plateau. Will give it a try if ever I get a case from Apple later on.

This has stopped working for me, I think as of the latest beta update maybe? Purple Techwoven.

Fortunately I don’t like the usability or aesthetic of purple icons anyway.

I have the blue TechWoven case, but my phone seems to think it's black. Even when I put the case on, the color animation appears to be dark gray.

I have the Blue TechWoven case, and the animation is blue to me. Not gray or black.
