Get rid of the Siri name and just call it Gemini
No because it is not just Gemini wrapped. This Version is privacy focus and all chats are privatly stored in apple's own servers and architecture. Not like google which you use the chat as trainingground for better a better ai…

The two most important things are not on this list:

1. GET RID of Image Playground & Genmoji
2. New keyboard (including putting anyone and everyone currently involved in the current keyboard in a gulag - WITH their families and known associates.)

That's all.
A resounding YES for a better keyboard. Why can't I have a numbers row if I want to??? Why is this possible on Android but not on iOS?

A Delete All or Select All button to mass delete iMessage attachments would be great! Until then I'll continue to use Whatsapp as my primary app

Yes, it’s Gemini-wrapped. Furthermore, it is highly likely to run on Google's servers, not Apple's: Source. It's probably best not to state things as fact when we simply don't know yet. In fact, a recent MacRumors article suggested that Apple's Private Cloud Compute might just be branding at this point, because it will not run on their own hardware.

I have a suggestion for iOS27 that makes millions of users switch instantly: Get rid of the T9 autocorrect style and build in something that actually works.

Visual Intelligence‌ will let users scan phone numbers and addresses on business cards and other print media, adding the information to the Contacts app.

Maybe it’s a false memory, but wasn’t this around in some form ten years ago when people still used business cards?

Such a shame they are reverting back on the separate search bar. For me it was clearly the greatest change of iOS 26 : it was both aesthetically pleasing and functional as it was easily reachable to paste, select and modify text… I don’t unederstand why they choose to go back on that…

I think it's because it's inconsistent whether it sits under the app bar or in the navigation bar (if I recall correctly how it was in iOS 18).

I won't do multiple quotes because I'm not one of those people and the day is short. But a few things:

- The camera app has used AI for over a decade. Its how image processing works and makes up for the measily sensors found in phones. As a wise man once said, ye cannae break the laws of physics.

-
I (and assume other people) use the iMessage stickers on a daily basis. The 'lift and paste' feature from the Photos app is incredibly useful in this regard. I also enjoy the animated cookie monster options and the Locoroco.

- I (and I assume others) actually use Genmoji. Its fun to create little personalised ones of myself to send to my wife. I wish the AI had the ability to translate them into unicode so other messaging apps didn't treat them as massive stickers but as regular emoji.

The ‌iOS 27‌ Shortcuts app will support using natural language to create a shortcut with AI. Users will be able to tell ‌Siri‌ what they want to accomplish with a multi-step shortcut, and ‌Siri‌ will generate it.
And Siri will tell you I can not do that lol

I sure hope mark "the gur" gurman is right about it being a snow leopard style update. Of the things in this post that's the only one I'm interested in.
Completely agree.

Apple need to nothing with this update bar, optimise or completely rewrite old code.

Remove legacy code that’s no longer needed.

Deliver Siri 2.0 and use a decent model for dictation.

Honestly, I’d be happy feature wise if they only fixed dictation.

I always assumed dictation was a tech that was doomed to always get things wrong.

Then I tried dictation with Chat GPT and it never missed or misunderstood a single word.

Making dictation accurate for everyone could fundamentally improve everyone’s experience and it will help Siri.

Sometimes I give her a simple instruction which she can definitely do but because the dictation made mistakes it broke the whole experience.

I also have CarPlay and have to roll the dice every time I reply or send a message when driving.

Sorry, didn’t mean to rant about dictation but I feel this is a small thing with huge benefits for every day use.
