Indoor and outdoor smart thermometers that connect to the home app thru a matter compatible hub doesn’t get readings on the home app, only the ones that are matter compatible or if it’s integrated on a matter hub. (Have 1 from ikea and 1 from SwitchBot that stopped working for Beta 1 and 2, all others that I have for both are matter compatible and do work and show the readings)

This would appear to be the same for the energy monitoring as well. The only ones that show up for me in the home app are the matter enabled ones. I assume this is by design.

This is what a lot of people running this forget.

You're running a beta/test software. Things aren't going to work properly sometimes. Old bugs are going to resurface. new bugs are going to surface. Apps, Siri, etc etc may not peform as expected or as they did before.

If you cannot understand that then you shouldn't be a beta 'TESTER'.
Stable versions do all of these too.

App management is far too aggressive. I can be in one app, swap to another, copy or look at something, swap back and the initial app completely reloads. The only way to stop this is to list all apps in the app manager and select from there. This was also an issue in beta 1.

For those saying indexing is fixed, did you plug it into a Mac and check the percent complete? I’m curious if apple just took the message away so people wouldn’t complain about it anymore.

If my iPad is still indexing when I update it tomorrow I’ll check myself. But it’s been indexing for over a week so it may finish before I take the plunge into b2.
Seems like apple just flipped a switch to straight up hide the indexing progress even if it is still indexing 🤦‍♂️

My iPhone was 95% done mail still said it had to index installed beta 2, indexing message went away and mail is searching emails as far back as 2010 now which it wasn’t before. Indexing will always be ongoing but sometimes things aren’t conspiracies

So aside from noticing the indexing message being gone, I noticed that New Siri/Siri AI is much much smoother especially for non AI tasks

Also, I noticed now in the Siri settings, if you're on the new Siri/Siri AI, it would show Siri (Beta) at the top of its page, it now says Siri AI (Beta)

Printing from the Air to an HP Color Laserjet - some pages are showing a random character. Primarily printing pdf’s.
Did not see this issue in B1. So far these characters have been showing up in larger blank spaces.

Was printing a copy of new car insurance cards and new car purchase contract.

I updated using the ipsw file from this beta 2 with the Apple Devices for Windows program. As far as I can remember, this is the first time an official Apple program has allowed the installation of a beta version of a major unreleased operating system.

I recently updated my Green 13 mini to beta 2 and there is a noticeable change between the beta 1 and beta 2. From my point of view using my 13 mini, the device seems to operate smoother and going between apps feels effortless with minimum delays. The device feels like a normal iPhone rather than one bogged down by the new iOS. I have found using my 13 mini a much more enjoyable experience with this update.

Anyone else having issues w/ iMessages Syncing w/ iCloud?

Last sync status is back before b1 release
I just looked at mine, and it last synced on 6/7/2026 11:47 am, which is odd, as my iCloud usually syncs each night. It now says it is syncing after I did a manual sync, but I'm not sure why it wasn't synced. Did you report it? I can add your case to mine.

So, while the Indexing is going on, is the phone operable? And, is this something that everyone, who eventually updates to iOS27, will have to deal with??
The phone works fine after installing iOS 27, and as it indexes, Siri's knowledge base increases and improves

Checked mine, last synced at 1:48am - it's working fine over here

iPhone Mirroring fixed - but needs both sides on Beta-2
