Not a bit as I always suspected a bug. Which is now resolved on my iPad Pro. 👏

Never had an issue with a beta 2. But problems can happen with any beta (and even GR software).

18.4 beta 1 and was pulled due to bootloops on iPhone 12.
watchOS 11.4 beta 1 was pulled due to bootloops on Series 6.
Public release of iPadOS 18.0 bricked brand new M4 iPads.

Have only been using it for like 15-20 minutes, but it feels the same as beta 1 (very good thing) just with the added bug fixes that some of you have mentioned (screenshots, for example).

Edit: Yay, they fixed lock screen customization! My wallpaper got butchered in beta 1.

I guess they removed access to the spotlight progress. Now shows "not showing" ironically.

EDIT: Guess all the complaining from people got to Apple.

And, they removed the way to check it in console. Now when you check spotlight indexing progress it reports not showing instead of a percent

I was just about to post about that! Great to finally be able to update the Apple TV without needing to be near it (or even at home!)

I want to know if the WiFi/bluetooth drop outs is fixed. I have had a few today causing wireless carplay to disconnect a few times. I know it’s only been out for less than an hour. Lol. I’ll probably give it 24h for people’s phones to settle in and see what happens.

Same. It'll be a few days before I'll know, though. By far, the most frequent drop outs I experienced in b1 were while in CarPlay... and I'm not likely to be driving any appreciable distance for a few days.

Also, the ability to take bulk action on junk in mail is still non-functual, if you “select all”. If you select them manually, you can take action as a group.

Long pressing the Safari app and selecting New Tab still results in the search bar looking like this (Where you can’t type):

Apple is fixing the performance with iOS 27. They probably had enough people cluttering up their inbox with all the feedback reports about indexing message.
