So far the only weird behaviours I have noticed on iOS27 is that Siri seems to quit during some longer questions before I finish speaking, and on the lock screen the flashlight and camera button seemingly do noting, however I can turn the flashlight on from the control centre.

Otherwise this beta is very good. Apps definitely launch faster and it kinda gives you that feeling when you've upgraded to a newer phone. Happy with it so far.

Slightly off topic, but I’ve become so used to iOS 27 that I forget how pitifully ugly iOS 26 was.

I’m glad they mostly pulled it together so quickly compared to the things we suffered through when iOS 7 released!

Holding out hope for a round 4 this Monday...Screen Time settings on Mac are totally botched (with Safari blocking "sensitive" websites although website filtering is set to unrestricted)

Feedback's been submitted (FB23255939) and followed up on for each beta released without a fix

And as far as I can tell there isn't any way to completely reset Screen Time settings without resetting one's device(s) which I did do—Mac, iPhone, and Watch—and it still didn't fix the issue

I made a thread on the topic in case anyone cares or can help!

Interesting. The bug where app icons wouldn’t be shown in spotlight search has completely disappeared. It was always updated apps that were blank. Been there since the beginning of beta 1 and now it just randomly disappeared. Something on the backend?

But the errors haven't changed.

I have shortcuts that read things out, or if I ask Siri to tell me my reminders or what's in my calendar etc.

Some examples (all logged in Feedback):

Text: Meet my friend Xi for coffee
Siri: Meet my friend eleven for coffee

Text: You walked 1,968 steps so far today
Siri: You walked nineteen sixty-eight steps so far today

Text: You walked 1626 steps
Siri: You walked once and six hundred and twenty six steps

That last one ... just what was Siri thinking?
I’ve had some of these from Siri providing CarPlay driving directions. Exit 264 for example said as “exit two and sixty four.”

Or, when approaching a road numbered 99 for example, Siri says variously (correctly) “ninety-nine” or (noticeably incorrectly) “nine-uh-nine” in the same sequence of directions as you approach the route 99 from 10 miles out, 2 miles out, 1 miles out, etc. inexplicably randomly differently.

All this talk of Apple Intelligence and Siri has absolutely no knowledge of context and is still as dumb as a brick. A brick that has been ostracised by all the other bricks for being stupid.

I wish there was a way to turn off swipe down from the island to enable Siri and just have the power button (and swipe down on Home Screen) enable it. It’s getting annoying when you’re so used to bringing down Notification Center.

Most recent pita - I’ll look at my Air to unlock and instead I get the keypad and a small smiley face in the Dynamic Island - right hand side. Mostly in dim to low light. Half a dozen times last night and this morning (early morning).
Not doing anything else, just picking it up to unlock.

Yes - spell check is still broken and Siri is still dumb; usually.

^^ Yah, I've looked for a better forum before - I'd love to see better control of what gets posted and consolidated bug reports (to bring 'em to Apple with)

Oh well, it's nice to see some heads-up on things here on MR - just gotta put up with a few things =)

Do you suggest other forums to peruse? (do you remember MacOSxHINTS.com? That was a nice one for a while..)

Shoo.. I remember MacSurfer.com on the Blackberry! haha

On the flip side, Reddit is so much worse. Every other post is “ind*xing” or “battery life is pretty good” on day one of beta at 3pm. Actual good posts get downvoted for no reason. It must be a bunch of actual children.

I just wonder, if the picture editing at a iP 17 pro still works in Germany w/o Apple Intelligence?
Funktioniert 1A 🙂

Sorry for replying in German real quick…
