iOS 27 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I am curious if my photos show up in Photos when I plug in my phone to import. Hasn't worked so far even though the Mac is on GG. I've had to airdrop them and then sync them.

This is digging deep because I’m still disappointed with how light mode looks on iOS 27, but there have been some changes. Darker shadows in the glass again and the curvature/shape of the Search bar has been tweaked again. Layering looks better now when you have something dark or colorful behind the glass (such as maps), but controls still look odd and oblong when it’s all white on white.

Seeing as we’re on beta 3 now, I’m worried they have no plans to match the pretty MacOS 27 glass with its HDR refractions.

Indexing of new data is done as the data comes in and constantly. The process doesn’t wait until another update. After the initial (new) indexing on iOS 27 is finished that is.
 
Welp Siri’s got a nice new feature to control pace and expression of voice which is nice, on the downside keeps on saying it’s got a problem with connection or something went wrong, it’s a beta so no shock there I’ll give it a day and try again

Good point! Day off from work today and brain is totally checked out. lol I still think it will need to index still like it always has with a new update, but maybe a an emphasis on Siri. I think it’s possible that the indexing metics could always be improving

No clue as to cause but my Air is currently sitting cooling down.
I picked it up to see where the install was (B3) and it was hot 🥵 to the touch. IR sensor said 109.1F.
It was shut down.

OTA update.
 
I’ve noticed the clear icons setting causes my 16pro to micro stutter when swiping between home screens. Nowhere near as smooth as solid coloured icons.
 
Also indexing message again. Wasn’t in beta 2 for me. Learn More (which should be Learn More…) returns an error page instead of the page about macOS Spotlight like in beta 1.
