Here’s the text shadow bug. Watch just above the word “calendar” where you’ll see some light gray pop in.

I know it’s the text shadow because it only happens in the center above the word. It happens on every icon, it’s just easier to see it on white icons.

Tried the Air on the Edge (Ford Edge ST 2022) which it has worked with in previous betas (minus the drops).
I get the same error with both the Colorado and Edge. It can see both vehicles but errors out on connect.
Did you try resetting your CarPlay from the head unit? I had to do that on Beta 4 several times but then it would be fine for a few days.
I have a 16PM and aftermarket wireless CarPlay

Tapping on a Messages notification from the Notification Center always brings me into that conversation thread in the Messages app… but sometimes the keyboard doesn’t appear when tapping the text field. I have to exit the conversation thread and go back in to get the keyboard to appear.

Anyone else?

Performance seems a lot faster on low battery mode + reduce motion. That’s how I keep my device 24/7 and reduce motion was stuttering with the fade-in and out transition when opening and closing apps this entire beta season. Seems to be okay on the latest public beta.

If anyone could be so kind as to let me know the glass UI upper/lower specular highlights in light mode still work (they were not working DB1-4, began working last week on DB5) I would really appreciate it!

I will deal with the DB4 bugs as long as my phone stays pretty 😂

Edit: it just updated on its own even though it’s set to download only. They still work!

Glad to hear they’re still working! At least the phone is staying pretty. 😂

Extremely happy with beta 6 on my daily 17PM. Fast, stable, smooth, this is the iOS we are waiting for after the iOS 26 fiasco.

Safari reloads are pretty frequent

Yeah you’re right about the Safari reloads, I noticed that too. I feel that this is something that will be fixed by the time RC rolls out.

As far as bugs go, that one is very minor for a beta. I’m very pleased with the functionality of the OS in beta 6. From my perspective, it’s definitely ready to use as an ‘everyday driver’ OS now.
