Correct. If you roll back your phone, you won't be able to use the watch. watchOS 27 requires iOS 27. Also, you won't be able to restore any backups that were made with iOS 27. You can restore a backup that was made with iOS 26 if you happened to do that before you upgraded.

Maybe, maybe not... That info is stored on Apple's servers. It doesn't matter that you don't own the phone anymore anyway. It's asking you for the passcode that you used on that iPhone so it can access/decrypt your iCloud Keychain. After so many failed attempts, it should be asking you if you want to reset your keychain and start with a new one. (Your old keychain will be lost.) It's possible that iOS 26 will give you that option.

According to Apple too many try agains should delete the iPhone 8. It was never mine. It was my daughters and she’s on the autism scale. No way she remembers. She has a 12 now.
 
Has anyone else noticed that when I tell Siri Carplay to shuffle all songs from an artist, it only plays like 2 songs. It used to play every song, frustrating.

The shuffle function has been fundamentally broken for years. When I say “Siri, shuffle my favorites.”, I get the same songs every time. I have hundreds of songs favorited and there’s stuff I’ll never hear if I don’t go in and add it to up next.

Maybe I’m wrong but shuffle should actually shuffle every time, not just play an already predetermined order different from what’s shown in the library.

I am also frustrated with the shuffle. Not just on CarPlay but any time in Apple Music. I have a playlist of 50 songs and it seems to play the same 10. I don't realize it at first but when that same song shows up it is pretty annoying. You would think that would be an easy fix - just capture the list and play them in a different order and don't repeat until they have all played once.

Played a bit with Air and CarPlay.

I listen to music via YouTube Music.
When playing via the Air on CarPlay, the volume is lower for the same setting compared to Android Auto.
Couple of betas back they were pretty well matched.

Siri on CarPlay got really dumb with this beta. Before you could ask a general question and get an answer. Now I am finding I have to be very specific. Race results. Dodger game results.

Pinch to zoom is working pretty well.
