Really? Gemini says this when doing a Google search (prompt: apple os beta and build number ending in a).
  • Minor Version Letter: The letter in the middle represents the development stage or minor update train. During early beta testing, Apple often uses letters deep in the alphabet (like f, g, or high numbers/letters descending toward a). [1, 3]
  • The Letter "a": As beta cycles progress and move closer to a Release Candidate (RC) or public launch, the letter shifts down toward "a". An "a" suffix indicates that the build is nearly finalized and focuses primarily on final bug polishing rather than adding major new features. [1, 2]
  • Sequential Digits: The numbers following the letter indicate how many internal times Apple compiled the source code for that specific update. [1, 2]

watchOS betas has been okay (using series 10) but Siri on it is… how do I say this… beyond slow and sometimes doesn’t work… yet infinitely better than the old Siri. I feel like series 12 will make Siri good on the watch. But on series 10 it absolutely crawls to the point I gave up on it

You’re wrong lol even Zollotech says an A at the end means we are so close to the final release

Yes, I am because we are talking about the letter after the build number (5425 in that case).
The capital letter stands for the first major release of an os ( the .0). The first minor update (.1) has a capital B, the .2 update a capital C. That has nothing to do with the number of compiles we’re talking about here.

Can someone please confirm if the following has been fixed in Ios 27.

Previous to ios 26, if you called a phone number multiple times, it used to have the number of calls in brackets, but more importantly pressing i next to the call would give you the call times for each call.

In ios 26, say you called the same number 4 times, now when you press i, it only gives you the call time of the last call.

Can anyone on ios 27 beta confirm if this has now been fixed, or if not how it can be raised with the ios development team.

Finally, i know you have an option called call history, however for some reason not all calls show, and facetime/ whatsapp calls are not showing at all.

Had zero issues apart from Safari reloading pages more often, on the last beta. If beta 7 is even better then I'd be happy to run it as a daily on my 17 Pro Max. I see basically no bugs, maybe I'm just lucky.
