We were supposed to get software that is 30% faster….. for now it is actually 30% slower.

Photo editor - simple action- loading photo for editing takes 3x more time…..

I don’t have any issue like that… And I have a old device with 75% battery life; and it’s fast even in power saving mode.

Anyone else still sometimes getting autocorrect/spellcheck not working at all in the Siri text box?

Feedback raised but just curious!

Does anyone else have the bug where the spotlight search (legacy) animation doesn’t exist (the keyboard just appears) when using reduce transparency?

Personally, I don’t think it’s refined enough, and many bugs still exist. This year was supposed to be a speed-up and bug fix, like Snow Leopard years ago on Mac, but sadly, that hasn’t happened. I did like the sound of not a lot of new features but overhaul the OS and get the best battery life, speed and memory management from it. Time is running out!

I had a feeling this would happen given the new Siri and folding iPhone launch. Those both require a massive amount of changes and are probably where all their development time is going, unfortunately

Does anyone still have Magic Keyboard issues for instance:
Built in on screen keyboard first pops up, and typing is constantly being hidden by on screen keyboard and sliding up so as to cover what you are typing
Difficult to see what you are typing

I use a MKB for my iPad Pro 11. Don’t have the onscreen keyboard popup issue. I have some keyboard controls work intermittently with some apps.

It's crazy how bad battery is, so close to the release. I doubt the RC will fix this. Usually, it's like this every year with the major iOS release – the .0 is quite bad, when it comes to battery. But I expected more, given that this release was supposed to polish things.

I came here to say the same thing but just about general bugs. For this being a polishing release, I’m surprised at how many bugs there still are one release before RC. Don’t get me wrong, performance is noticeably better than 26 overall, and 26 had its own set of bugs that bothered me the entire year. But still, I hope the RC is a big improvement.
