There may be some smaller issues remaining, but this has been, over all, the smoothest and most performant beta cycle I've seen since Snow Leopard dev seeds. If most (but not all) of the complaints are cosmetic, we're in good shape. And the RC _always_ ships with a lot of smaller fixes delayed to the x.1 beta cycle.
In 2009 Snow Leopard shipped with one of the worst data-deletion bugs ever:
Snow Leopard only matured into the legendary release it became later on after several updates.
I’d hope iOS 27 RC is a lot better than SL!

Issues persist in RC:

Still cant start an Apple Watch workout from Shortcuts.

Using Siri to perform actions on phone (like complete a task) still require the device to be unlocked.

Will test the issues with Siri in CarPlay later.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about this one! I wasn't affected by it, so the memory didn't stick.

I still stand by my hot take that this has been, overall, a very smooth beta run. Especially when you compare with last year's mess.

Expand the Control Center Wi-Fi/connectivity platter to view all available networks and you'll see it 🙂
That is exactly what I. Now with readers (glasses off) I can see the very tiny dot on the bottom is off and the top bar is on for several neighbors. Oh well back to the optometrist. Boy the lock almost hides it.

Still can't turn on Apple intelligence features for Home. Toggling on "Summarize Videos" for specific cameras just turns off immediately. Only one camera toggle stays on.

I just tested this by asking Siri if I have any new notifications and it replies I have to unlock first. This is very frustrating and a downgrade to Siri if this is the new way.

A bug I am going to report through the feedback app but I am wondering if it's only on my iPhone 13 mini:

When watching a video a thin white outline is visible around the frame in portrait or landscape (TV, Youtube). You can see it very clearly when you have a black image (like the Apple TV logo at a start of one of their shows for example), and it disappears when you bring up the control overlay.

Am I the only one? It's been there since beta 4 I think.

Did you find this cute guy? Moof!
