Present since iOS 26.0 betas. 40 iOS betas later, 7 .X stable releases later. Over a year now and counting. 😂😂😂

Siri is the main reason I updated…..however, it’s horrible.

Here’s another bug that has been all through ios27….hold the side button for Siri and ask to text “whomever”. It will respond “what do you want to say”….that’s it, it goes dead and does nothing.

Siri CarPlay as well is horrible “play WMAL” now playing WXTQ 105.9

This exact thing happens to my wife every time she tries to play favorites on the HomePods. Endlessly frustrating for her.

Pretty happy with the latest betas and now the RC. Runs really fine on my 17 Pro.
If they can optimise it even more with 27.1 and later… we’re back on a really nice iOS.

Snow Leopard only matured into the legendary release it became later on after several updates.

Can someone please ask what date a future calendar event is when the phone is locked and nearby?

"Hey Siri, when is my next __ (haircut or whatever) on the calendar?"

It is telling me I need to unlock my iPhone first despite having allow Siri while locked toggled on AND having my Apple Watch on my wrist that says it can be used to unlock (although maybe not authenticate?) the iPhone in the absence of a FaceID success.

I swear the RC seems even more fluid and faster than the betas to me. Even though it’s only been a couple of hours and optimizing is still showing. Everything is just zippy as he**!

i can definitely see the inverted wi-fi issue on RC. i know it's annoying but has anyone tried a "reset network settings" to see if it's a plist or something that's funky? is it manifesting on a completely fresh install?

I did (not because of the icons, though). Still there.

I like the new option to edit the buttons at the top in the Camera app.

Well, maybe they came in a previous beta but I've only just noticed.

Seems like Apple is significantly lowering the allowed number cameras that are being allowed to use AI summaries for each iCloud tier compared to what had previously been reported based on this support article they published today....

Same. I reverted back to classic Siri. This kind of stuff should've been identified and fixed in internal testing before making it to beta.

Man, you seem you like to make yourself suffer. You are choosing the worst literally way to update it, and most of us stay as far away from that application as we can possibly can. You are not getting helpful responses because hardly anyone here will use that method.

If your worried about your phone this much, then installing beta firmware might not be for you. There are hundreds of posts in multiple threads stating how stable this has been this go around. If you’re that worried about it, maybe just wait for the final release.

We all understand the risks and sign the TOS knowing this could cause a rough day, but we do it anyway. Install it at your own risk and just deal with the consequences if they arise. Or don’t and just wait it out.
