4.0 feels faster on mine when i didnt have anything else on my 3g but now that its filled with apps it crashes all the time and its slow as vista. lol

I never updated my 3G. What did you exactly. The current iOS never works perfectly with older models. Just learn to live with it.

After upgrading, I can count the seconds it takes to open any app. Even the texting is laggy.

Slow as drying paint

Slow isn't the word for how my iPhone 3G is now.

I am having to reboot the phone at least once a day, I have uninstalled nearly all apes, have no music, videos, photos or anything.

When I unlock the phone it takes about 30 to 40 seconds before I can enter a password to unlock it. The camera takes a minute to start, phone calls drop when they never used to, email doesn't work properly, apps take for ever to start and then crash regularly.

I have restored to IOS 4 twice now and it hasn't resolved anything. The only good thing with this update is at least my phone didn't change to being in Kanji. No, I don't have a Japanese iPhone.

Took two days to actually get my phone to accept IOS4 the first time, and lost all my data. Restore wouldn't work either. So lots of data still lost.

Am going to try to restore to 3.1
