AirPlay and AirPrint are implemented horribly.

AirPlay works in every app (which is awesome). However, it is audio only (which isn't awesome).

AirPrint works with 5 printers. Thats it. No shared printers, no AirPort connected printers.

Are you saying my printer that is connected to my airport base station on my network won't work for my iPad via wifi?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile/8B117)

Just a question did apple fix this daylight savings bug?

No shared printers until 10.6.5 is released. Do read the release notes.

The one thing I wish for is a quick way to get to the bluetooth on/off toggle. Why they don't have easy access to it puzzles me.

I'm glad they added the brightness control to the Multitasking Bar, that will help me out a lot.

The multi-tasking bar needs complete re-working.

There needs to be a 'close-all' button. I don't want to have to close multiple open apps one by one, which I have to do regularly.

SJ claimed you won't have to worry about closing apps.. well you do, too many open apps lead to a sluggish device.

Not sure if this is new or has been there all along, but on the iPhone you can now swipe left on the multitasking bar twice to get to volume controls.

Unfortunately no brightness.

Why would I want to swipe twice to get to volume controls when there are physical buttons right on the phone itself? Why not add toggle for wifi on/off or some such controls that people have actually jailbroken just to get quick access to them? Pretty ridiculous addition, if true.

No wait, if there is a task killer then you blew it! lol.

THere IS a task killer, and no, you don't need it. The OS should be smart enough to manage the memory. Android is. I assume iOS will be.

But most of the apps in there probably aren't running unless you're doing a lot of multitasking stuff, no? If it's not doing anything in the background (location services, streaming, etc) it shouldn't change anything, right?

Well, imaging I'm playing Angry Birds - which I've realized is a bit sluggish, I decide to close all apps... returning to Angry Birds I find that the game is no longer sluggish.

The other 'open' apps were games, so, no they weren't multi-tasking and yet still had an effect on performance.

Anyway, a 'close-all' button would still be very convenient..

They aren't all running. An app can only stay open if it is playing music or using your location (both have indicators in the top right corner of the status bar).

The running app indicator is NOT the multitasking tray, it's the status bar at the the TOP of the screen.
