I have a jailbroken iPad.

I don't mind losing the jailbreak.
Do I just upgrade via iTunes to 4.2 naturally, or is it preferred to "re-virginize" the iPad before updating to 4.2?
Should I erase the cydia apps before updating or will it all "just sort itself out" after the update, and all my real apps stay and cydia apps disappear?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure 4.0 was GM to Final in 1 week, both being identical builds. Having high hopes for 4.2 tomorrow but I doubt it.

yup, so was 4.1.

tho as i said, highly doubt tomorrow for 4.2, either tuesday or wednesday, depending on 10.1's release. that has to be out a day before so it propogates out for 4.2 to be installed.
