I got a weird bug. Sometimes my albums in the photos app go right to the top of the screen and show underneath the 'menubar' at the top so I can tap on it and open the first album in the list. If I pull it back down on the rubberband effect it still goes to the top of the screen?! I have to restart my phone for it to reset and its still hit and miss whether it works.

Except that I don't jailbreak my iPad.I do however work in an electronics repair shop, and we do jailbreaking/unlocking for customers sometimes. Apple is beating down the jailbreak community pretty well recently. It's a pain for me because it means lots of customers coming in complaining that their jailbreak/unlock is gone.

I was debating on doing the 4.3.1 update now that the jailbreak is available. Is this a bad call? It seems many are unhappy they updated their software. I am currently on 4.2.1. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Only issue I want fixed is wifi. Disconnects a lot.
Same. Might just be a plecebo effect, but whatever...Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile/8G4)
I had battery drain with 4.3.1 until I turned off Ping and restarted my phone. Since then, good battery life.
Negative votes on this? Seriously? So what if they're breaking the jailbreak, they're allowed to do so.
I miss 4.2.1, it was really stable for me![]()
Open Safari on iPad.
Click a youtube link and watch vid.
Go back to Safari.
What do you get?
On my iPhone 4, the animations are very choppy. For example when I tap an app, it doesn't "zoom" in...it just freezes for a second then the app appears. Not jailbroken, and it does this even after a restore.
Hopefully this update will fix it...it's been going on for a while now.
I can confirm that I am a genuine iPhone 4 user who loves it. Loved the 3GS and the original iPhone before it. But for the first time, I'm affected by a problem that I see others complaining about: battery life is quite noticeably down since 4.3. 4.3.1 doesn't seem to have had much of an effect (not that it ever publicly purported to address that issue).I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.
There are a lot of flame-baiting haters and sniveling little whiners in this forum. And I mean a lot.Why all the negatives? Patches are a good thing.

It's obviously just to eliminate the jailbreak, as usual.
