Yes, it's a 4G.

I should also mention that the problem is intermittent.

I get the same thing too. Seems to be a minor bug in Ios4.3. Not too concerned, it goes away in a few secods and first effect any other function.

I have that along with general slowness now. On occasion it can barely suspend 5 apps without flushing so to me the update is half baked.

Happily back on 4.2.1 and none of these problems occur.

Well that sucks.
I still have mine on 4.2.1.
Its nice and speedy. I hope 4.3 and onwards isn't going to permanently cripple the device *ahem* iPod Touch 2G

It's discouraging that Apple's flagship device (iPhone) is running this software; granted this particular issue appears to only be affecting iPod Touch 4G users.

Im having the same issues on the wifi image and when my screen wakes because of a notification.

I have a 3rd Gen. and after the update my screen has issues. It seems to be unfocussed or slightly blurry at times. There's also little glitches like what's in this pic.

Weird.

Cool background btw, link?

I've attached pictures of the glitches on my own iPod.

Here's one
MR thread that has mentioned this issue, and here's another.

Here's a video of the glitch in action.

If you're experiencing this issue, please report it to Apple.

I get this problem sometimes with the New iOS is kinda annoying but for me is only when I put in my Passcode or when I bring it back from sleep mode Anyone knows how to fix this ?

Same! I get it around 50% of the time when the screen lights up from sleep for a notification.
I thought it was the GPU overheating so I loaded up some heavy games and it was fine.

This is happening to me too. I've also noticed that the battery life has become abysmal. I'm seriously thinking about downgrading.

i get these from time to time. I found that taking a screenshot (holding sleep key and home key together) makes everything right, stops the flickering.
