This setting has to do with the desktop, not your device. I don't know whether you need to use the same computer to update as I only use one computer. I want to say don't have to, but I'm not positive.
 
I don't think you need to.. you need to do a restore instead of update if you are going to iOS5

yeah ive been doing restore not update. and selecting the correct IPSW but just as it says its extracting it gets to the end of the loading bar and fails D:

Yes, the Apple IOS developers (not the dev channel people, but Apple's ACTUAL employed developers).
 
Well i hope for today!!!because i can't even use it!!!I know i can downgrade but having all the features in ios 5 and after the downgrading i won't have anything so i keep it and i'm waiting for a new release

It's a bit smoother now in terms GUI performance, typing speed etc. Safari seems to crash a lot more now though, even after 2 restores.
 
iOS beta 3 is fast on my iPad 2 but Safari reloads pages much more often than on iOS 4.3.3 and it also cannot save passwords on websites that worked on iOS 4.x with no issues.
