How have people managed to get it downloaded so fast??

I got the download pretty quick but it got stuck at 65-68 seconds for a minute.


now my phone is doing the old boot/restore thing. seems that this iOS update is a quick one today, at least for me.

They started right when it was released. My first ~300mb went very fast then it ground to a halt.

The GM and the official iOS5 have the same exact build number, that's the reason why we on the GM aren't getting the update.

same here, mine got stuck at 60 seconds for a minute.

I had to upgrade to iTunes 10.5 too before it would show.

blah the download for my iPad is going so slow -____- its going at like 0.1mb a second. Sitting at 11 minutes. Get to test out iOS 5 atleast on my iPad until my 4S gets here Friday 😀

restoring from backup now. i might just hold off on the mac update till i get home from work and when the servers aren't busy.

Any mirrors out yet? I started my download about 30 mins ago and it went from 0 to 200mb in about a minute. I come back now and it's only at 267MB with 63 minutes remaining 🙁

I'm going out in soon to meet some friends, was hoping it would be done by then...

got it and downloading.. 😉

I almost done. Updating phone now. Found an easy way to speed up the download. Stopped the download and retried it again and it worked much faster and restarted from where it left. I guess it was routes differently.

i don't see it either my iPhone is jailbroken 4.3.3

Mine is iPhone 4 version 4.2.6 and jailbroken. It didnt show up for me either. I had to click on Help in iTunes then clicked on Check for updates. Thats how it showed up for me.
