iOS 5 on iPad 1 Feedback Thread

Except the absence of MT gestures I'm really happy with its performance

I want to update because iCab crashes frequently, but no with a downgraded music player.

Really loving the increased Safari speed under iOS 5!! Since i do a lot of browsing on my iPad 1, it is almost like a new device from a browsing perspective.

Mine isn't working so well . Apps take a looong time to open up, then when I try to tap a text field, or basically tap anything, the app crashes. Safari and everything is running really slooow.

Any tips?

Works fine for me, to include gestures. Since I upgraded to an iPAD2 though

I have speed issues with all of my Playrix games- Call of Atlantis and the other Atlantis game. 4 Elements is slow, too. Is this an update issue on the part of Playrix? Any problems with these games on iPad 2?

iOS 5 is running very smooth on my ipad 1. gen. Not faster but also not slower then with iOS 4.3.5.

Works just as fast on mine...

Safari seems lovely and fast... I like the tabs, but not so much the X on the wrong side (whoops, PC girl!)......

HATE the music app.. I miss my rewind 30 second button BADLY, and the pause button is so tiny and in a funny place.... But the cover visual is pretty...

I want to like Newsstand... I just can't justify the pricing....

Air Video & VLC seem faster converting/running.....

I like the foldrs in photos on the ipad change....

I like the twitter integration....

Other than the music app.. I'm quite happy with the upgrade And still having an iPad 1... I can wait till/if an iPad 3

Safari has slowed down to the point of being unusable for me. I guess I had a "failed" upgrade if that even exists. My only hope is that a clean reinstall fixes my problems.

Safari takes forever to load pages, is sluggish during scrolling and constantly crashes. Very very very very very very very very slow performance to say the least.
