What are the changes???![]()
OSs nowadays have nothing major to offer, almost everything you couldn't do before you can now and that's why OSs are getting tougher to come up with substancial features.
That's only because it has been bug fixes for the past 2 betas and ZERO new features. If there's still lag, something is very wrong.
What's the point of updating to iOS 6.1 if there's nothing? It's as good as staying on 6.0.1, and I don't have to waste storage space to accommodate the new update.
Hey what's the site? He doesn't seem to have it anymore
I don't know why the person updating that blog is insisting that 6.1 is going to get a keynote. It's not significant enough for a keynote. And the January-March release date? Is that vague enough for ya? That must be some insider information right?![]()
I can think of a hundred changes iOS could implement to make our lives easier.
Just a few: Better keyboard, quick access to setting toggles, and text message details for EVERY MESSAGE.
Only thing I might agree with you: quick access to settings toggles. As for the rest, I believe only a minor percentage of people worldwide would want that, so not "worth it".
"Insider information" might be right. The poster has posted a schedule for iOS 6.1 giving some more details.
I'm sure I'm not allowed to post links to other sites here, so I don't know how we can promote that content.

I want iOS 7
iOS 6 is bullcrap. the vista of iOS
iOS 7 better be a godsend, because this is almost getting laughable.

Cry more. Or switch to Android, nobody cares that you don't like iOS 6. The vast majority would disagree.
Don't waste your time with it.
5 -> 6 Maps?? Facebook??
Passbook, Siri upgrades, shared photostreams, do not disturb, more security, facetime over cellular, New app store, new iTunes store, redesigned music app, some new features specific to the iPhone 5, and I'm probably missing some things.
Nothing I listed was a major feature, but copy and paste is?sure. there were also dozens of minor features introduced in prior iOS launches that I didn't mention. I only was talking about major new features: e.g iOS 5's iMessage is a major new feature...'folders' isn't exactly gamechanging..
and on iOS 6, that major new feature is 'maps' which really didn't add anything..
