Based on?

I believe either the iOS 6.1 GM will be released tomorrow to developers and the final product will be released to consumers next week, or they'll bypass the Gold Master and just release the final product next week. Cook said certain countries are going to finally get LTE functionality on their iPhone 5 devices next week, so one can assume iOS 6.1 will do just that for them.

What's the hype about though? I don't really see anything to hyped about, except if one jailbreaks their devices.

I just want it released so we can all get the disappointment over with and then start hyping a new thing that will ultimately be disappointing.

I know there is not much significant changing with 6.1 but I hope it improves the battery issues i have with 6.0.2

The only thing exciting about a 6.1 release is that the JB devs may finally actually release something.

Or that millions of people outside the US are finally getting LTE on there iPhone.

I've been waiting for this since day 1 because in Denmark there is a very widespread LTE network and I can't use it with my iPhone 5 because Apple don't want me to, that is until next week :D

It'll probably be today. Beta 4 expires on Monday. I honestly can't believe they waited so close to the expiration date.
