...maybe I am doing this wrong but this does NOT happen in IOS 5. If I read the description of the app and then exit back to the list - it stays exactly where I was before I read the description.

Thank you so much! Well, I gotta say... It took Google ages to put the names in Arabic, so Apple is in the right step. And I see that they have a few POI's. But I guess once I get iOS 6 I'll have to report each day so that they would change the name from Libanon to Lebanon. It's like saying Germani instead of Germany
And what happens if you tap on the green car icon? Isn't that for navigation?
It might just be that Lebanon is spelled "Libanon" in my language (Swedish) ;-) I don't know, maybe someone else can confirm or I will change system language later and check myself
Same problem here. Turn by turn doesn't run in full screen like the preview page on apple.com and doesn't run on the lockscreen either. Also, no traffic data.
Edit: Also in Canada on the iPhone 4S.

Yup just tested on my 4S just now
Works full screen on mine and lock screen, the latter was temperamental at first.
How well does it cope describing going round the Robin Hood "roundabout" though
Lots of nav systems have trouble with that. My Mercedes told me to "turn half right off the square" which made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

It is silly but I love this. I really liked reading it what was truly changed when I used the Android MP. Very good addition I think.
Looks good, can't wait to update! At the same time I'm hesitant to upgrade right away because x.0 releases are almost always buggy with Apple.
I dig the new dark look they've got going on, Can't wait to update the App store on the iPad, so obnoxious downloading apps and having it push you out to the home screen. Whoever thought that was a great idea should be fired!
Hopefully they'll spread the dark look more across the UI and reduce/eliminate the baby blue look.

Yeah absolutely obnoxious and is the big reason why I still use iTunes on my PC to sync my iPad/iPod Touch with new apps.

What happend when you are set to "Do not distrub" and someone calls you or texts you, if they are not on the approved list I know it wont alert you but when you turn the Do not disturb off, can you see your missed calls or texts?
I imagine it boosts bass and treble and reduces the dynamic range to improve low volume listening.

and besides, the notifications are there even without turning off Do Not Disturb, its just that the screen doesnt turn off.
So if you were to go into notification center during do not disturb, all your notifications would be there
Sorry if it's been mentioned, but FINALLY you are no longer thrown out of the store when you install an app. That always really bugged me.

When receiving a photo thru iMessage/text message it takes a second or two to download but the pictures seem to look better.

Even while in full screen ( no top or bottom bars )while surfing on safari, tapping the top of the screen still brings you to the top of the page.
geez! I still don't understand the reasoning for keeping newsstand or any apps on our screen if we do not use it. thanks for checking. I guess we cannot 'force' the app into a folder either like before?
San Francisco, Sydney. Those are the only ones I've seen. It will be some time before we know which cities have it since Apple didn't give us a list.
It's worth noting that the map app crashes quite a bit when moving around in 3D. Not surprising given its a beta.
