Well, the ß is missing, but it's a start. :)

You can have the ß on iPad in the first keyboard layout/layer:

Auto brightness - previously it would only 'kick in' when you unlocked your phone. Now it kicks in as soon as you press the home/wake button to turn the screen on.

I can now change the order of my email accounts. Now I have the business ones at the top.

How do you do that?

*edit*

s'ok, found it. It's great, I've always wanted to be able to get my accounts in a particular order. :)

Sad no more YouTube :eek:::apple::mad::apple:

Why? the youtube app from the app store is miles better than the old stock one.

----------

My notification volume and the sms tone volume is connected to where the media volume was last left in music player, html5 etc and not connected to the ringtone volume

Is this the same for everyone else and why?

Just noticed, on my 5, that you can hold down the back and forwards buttons in safari and a list of previous sites come up. Never seen this before, is it new in iOS 6? :)

just tried this, thanks! works on 4S so it must be an iOS 6 feature.

There is no iPad Youtube app, disgrace.

So after using iOS6 on the iPhone 5 since it's release, I must say that overall, I am fairly happy with it. Apart from the obvious fail of maps, everything else is running smoothly and very nice.

But with the news that Apple still had another year left on the contract with Google, I believe they should have left it for iOS7 and released it when it was actually worth using.

you also see it working by covering the sensor on the top before pressing the home button.. release cover and it brightens up. Finally, like what "auto brightness" is suppose to do to begin with.

Worth it for the iPhone 4?

I just read through the info on the upgrades/enhancements of this update from the install dialog box. I don't see any of these upgrades mentioning the iPhone 4, though. It all seems to be affecting 4S and 5.

Is it worth it for us iPhone 4 users?

New mail features

Is it me, or is Apple mail looking allot like Google mail?

The 'Pull to refresh' in all mail accounts, is a neat feature, just like Gmail, you can now no longer "Delete" a message.

I like the idea of archiving for the future and all, but i DO want to delete someday.

Instead, Apples changed this to 'Archive' when you swipe a message, or Edit in selected mailboxes.

Anone know why they chose to go down ths path?

Pretty sure that's GMAIL and not Apple. My Yahoo account still deletes email, but not my GMAIL account

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1446444/

After upgrading to iOS 6 on my 4S i'm seeing that after I read an email or delete it the mail app itself, it was SUPPOSED to remove it from notification center.

Now even after i've deleted messages without reading them from the mail app, they are STILL in notification center and I have to clear them.

If I open them, then they go away.

But I don't need to open all emails right?

Then, when I click the email from notification center that is no longer in the mail app, it just leads me to the start screen in Mail that shows my inboxes and accounts.

It doesn't do anything...NOR does it remove it even them...but it can't since its deleted. Why is this happening? Is anyone else having the same problem?

I have had the same problem, as well as an issue where, once Do Not Disturb is enabled (not activated mind you, just set up so that it can turn on at a later time) it automatically decides to remove Mail.app from Notification Center. Unfortunately I have not found a long term fix for this as of yet. :(
