iOS 6 Beta 2: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Beta 2 seems fine like beta 1 but a few things tho:

Auto brightness doesn't work still

Notifications come late (eg someone from whatsapp posts at 8:00am but I only get the notification at 8:03am)

Transitions for alerts still don't look as smooth as iOS 5

- multitasking menu
- post twitter / FB from notification center menu ( share widget )
- notification laggy when i want to clear the notification, lot of notification. Do you feel the same like me ?

havent seen much lag, some games force close , but thats expected sometimes. Overall works fine, just that sleep wake feature that occasionally messes up

But do you still get some lag on your ipad3 ? Yes or no ?

I just want to know, that it not just me got this lag ?

So far no lag for me. However I JUST now encountered a crazy bug when you "app wants to access photos". I will post a video. runs smooth though. not lag
 
iPhoto can't access photos from the photos app

Actually my iPad has been doing this since beta one. Somehow, whenever I open the iPhoto app it doesn't show any of the photos in my photos app at all. I tried deleting the iPhoto app and reinstalling it, and rebooting multiple times. Yet none of them seems to work. I think the only option that I have left is to reset the machine... But I don't want to go there.

Anybody else experiencing the same problem?
 
When anything needs to access the camera roll (Facebook, website, etc.) it just stays "frozen" on the album screen and won't let you tap your camera roll for 10-15 seconds... Odd.

Aye have been having that same problem. I'm thinking it has something to do with the new privacy features.
 
Any incoming calls problems?

No sound & no vibrate when Unknown number is calling.

Had this twice, only the screen lights up and thats all. Went to check the settings: definitely not on silent, the ringtones are set, vibrate is also On and should have worked, DND is Off. Once I checked all of these, I get another call - again no sound, no vibrate!!! Anyone else seen missed calls from Unknown numbers?

Even checked the number in call history, definitely Unknown Caller, not someone from the address book with that name.

PS -the alarm was set, but not triggered yet.

No problems with Tweetbot here. Are you logged into twitter via the Settings app? It pulls your login straight from there.




Not really a bug, but an inconvenience, you cannot search from within your purchased section in the new app store. You could with the current iOS 5 app store, but not from this new beta one. Makes it really inconvenient when you have hundreds of apps in there.



As for 3rd party apps, I cannot get the Best Buy Rewards app to work. It comes up, but gets stuck on the loading screen and sometimes tells me I don't have an internet connection, which I do.
 
Not sure if this was intended or not, but if I set Do Not Disturb to turn off at say 9AM, it doesn't turn off immediately at 9AM, it turns off about 30 seconds after.

Auto brightness is working perfectly for me on beta 2, on iPhone 4S and new iPad. No issues with that since the upgrade.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. This is a thread to discuss bugs after all...

Auto lock doesn't seem to be working. I have it set to a minute and it doesn't even dim even after a minute or two have passed.

Edit: Just kidding, seems to be dimming now.

Edit 2: Hmm, maybe it's just the home screen it doesn't dim on, not sure.

I actually wonder if people got so used to how auto brightness worked before that they don't realize the new way is more accurate to the name than the old way.
The old way was more of a minimum brightness, with the ability to brighten in bright light.
 
Cant edit tweet and send it when use siri. Anyone experience it ?

Anyone feel the same like i am. ios 6 beta is more light, responsive, and not laggy in iphone 4s than in new ipad ?

Do you feel that too guys ?
 
Is Infinity Blade 2 only crashing for me on beta 2? Wanted to play it again on iPad 3 and it crashes right after the Chair logo. Tweetbot worked perfectly fine for me btw, on both iPad and iPhone, beta 1 and 2.
 
Not sure if this has been discussed, but when I try to change the order of items in Notification Center, the Mail app always goes to the bottom no matter what.
 
I am having the same login issue with Tweetbot on both my ipad and iphone with iOS 6.

Has anyone been able to install Chrome on iOS 6?

So how does the new way work? Didn't know that they actually changed the way auto brightness worked!😱
