It does say "or the local language in each region".

It should say "Always Use Local Language".

No, the descriptive text is correct. When set to ON, all labels will be in English, for example Köln will be named Cologne, Roma will be called Rome etc.

When set to OFF, all labels will be in the countries language, Köln will be Köln, Roma will be Roma and so on.

Except the switch works the exact opposite as intented.

I noticed that the auto-zoom that the OS does in Maps for going to an address (or using current location), and when tapping in to zoom with satellite imagery now uses a fluid loading motion instead of "jerking" to the new loaded zoomed in photos/vectors.

Unified messaging on iPad

"iMessage on iPad Now Gives Option to Add Phone Number for Unified Messaging"

Not on my iPad. (iPad 3, Verizon, 6.0b3)

Yeah you're right. I misread it's meaning.

It does work the wrong way around.

While holding focus on photo or video cam you can actually lock it. Also typing is more accurate.

I just read on another page you have to sign out of Messages on the iPad and sign back in again. However mine seems to be stuck at 'verifying' - so I've temporarily lost iMessages on my iPad

Will report back

Nope - I can't add a phone number either now I've signed back in

that's due to the app update today, not beta 3, as i am running beta 2 on my iPad with the app update for xbox that came out today

It's beta 3 as well. I did not update the app on my 4s yet and it works. My XBox Live app is still version 1.5 and it doesn't crash now. It wouldn't stay open for more than 1 second before the iOS update

Happy coincidence then. I had that problem with beta 1 and 2, updated my iPhone to beta 3 then the xbox app, but updated the app on my ipad 2 and left it on beta 2.

it worked for me on beta 1, you had to sign out of imessage on both devices (not turn off, actually sign out your account), then sign in on the iPad, then the iPhone, the iPad then pops up with the message about adding phone number. took me a few goes over an hour on beta 1, but it worked eventually.

Looking at your cellular data account in landscape mode no longer pushes you into portrait mode and is displayed as expected. In iOS 6 Beta 1 and 2, on my new iPad it used to force input in portrait.

iMessage prompt to allow phone number for iPad not working for me either, even after signing out.

Also, mlb at bat still is not working for live video or archived video (condensed games and highlights work though)

On my device the icons in beta 3 look exactly as the ones in beta 2. Sure that this is new?

If you drill down to the folders in each email account (for example on my Gmail accounts), the SPAM folder has a new icon for me. Some brown recycle bag.

Also in individual messages, the ARCHIVE button has a new icon. These are the more obvious ones, but I suspect a few more icons got new looks.

Of course, now that Sparrow works fine again in Beta 3, I'll go back to Sparrow

Oh then this is probably new for a Gmail account. I have an iCloud account and this brown bag has always been there.
