Apparently they don't know what the word means. I suspect they thought it was a fancier version of "famous."

Michael

Two posts on the whole blog, one trying to sell "Rural Broadband Optimization" and the other one an unsourced BS piece about iOS 6. Who is this fool anyway?

This happened last year. Every time someone made a thread asking if the iOS 5 beta 4/5/6 whatever was released tomorrow, it never was. But when no one made a thread it was actually released. Stop jinxing shiiittt

I wish there was a way to downgrade in case of major issue with beta. That way, I'd pay the 100$ yearly and install the beta on my iPhone.

I don't want to install it oj my iPhone I am using personal and business and having bad luck and brick it!

What I have been doing, I would check the betas, if they were unusable to me, I would enter DFU mode (Hold Power+home button for ten seconds, then let go of power and hold home button for five seconds) and restore. I didn't need the iOS 5 ipsw, but I've heard some people needed it. Also, if you attempt DFU mode and you see an Apple logo OR connect to iTunes icon, you've held something too long

Hay guys,
I'm still only a new developer but once you have the final beta and the final version of iOS 6 is released to the world, do we simply update to it or do we need to restore?

OT: They removed the vote down button for a reason. Also, your post is not allowed in the Forum Rules and can lead to being banned.

It makes no difference to me. I prefer a clean forum but that's for the Moderators to decide. I got nailed once for doing the same thing and I'm trying to save you that pain. ;)

Thanks... That was just my attempt at a joke

I posted this yesterday in response to someone who had the same question as you.

Of course you can. If there is a new build number, you'll get the update. So since the GM is usually the same as the public release, the build number will be the same and you won't need to update.

But say the GM is build number 10A1234 and the public release is 10A5678, you'll get notified of an update.

Like I said, if there is a build number change from your current version, you will be notified. So yes, obviously there will be a build number change from the 1st public release to the second. If Apple makes a change to the OS, whether it be one bug fix or 50 new features, the build number is changed.

Can a GM version be used by a non-developer?

I plan to sell my iPhone 4S with iOS 6 when the new the iPhone is out.

Yep. GM version can be used by anyone. It's usually the final build. Key word there is usually. iOS 4.2 had a GM but that GM wasn't the final build because of a WiFi bug with the iPad, hence 4.2.1.

Is iOS 6 beta 3 out yet I am not getting an update when I go to software update so I'm just curious if it is out

Monday probably...

It takes their team a week to fix a safari memory leak.

So far, this memory leak has been reported by a single no name blog written by a nobody who has a vested interest in bringing traffic to aforementioned blog in order to sell his services as a broadband optimizer.
