Wow... a lot of jerks in these forums. Why should anybody care if this guy got his hands on the ios 6 beta without being a dev. It doesnt affect anybody personally at all.

Im a dev, I paid my membership and I certainly dont care about anyone who gets their hands on the beta without being registered it's their problem and not mine. It's not like im being "apple police patrol" on the forums and the internet.

Just put your device into DFU (hold down the home and power button) while plugging into itunes and hit restore, you should go back to ios 5.1.1 in no time. But I do have to agree that since it's a beta, I wouldnt recommend you using it on your main device, but you regardless to what the trolls say, can do whatever you want

great. so you are a clueless teen who just wants to install the 'latest' BETA os to show off to your friends.

whats wrong with that? Everybody likes showing off. And teens are naturally clueless it's called "growing up" for a reason. Why give anybody a hard time?

I don't know if I've explained it in this thread, but the reason that people get so angry about people who shouldn't have the beta having the beta is the inevitable pile of threads that go something like "iOS 6 sucks" or "I bricked my phone restoring to iOS 6" or "How do I downgrade from iOS 6".

It's not really your problem if someone else bricks their phone by installing a beta. You could try to give helpful advice or just stay out of it altogether. The aggressive overreactions in this forum just make it seem like people have issues, tbh...

TEACH the young/newbies. Some may be trying to bang their way around to learn something. Think about it, we all started somewhere/somehow, and these may be our future developers!

I think I got it figured out. Thanks for suggestions on DFU mode. I am not a developer, but I have played with this kind of stuff before on my iTouch. Wont be doing it again though....

How did you figure it out, i have my iphone stuck on the iOS 6 set up. I can´t restore it since it asks me to put a developer account:mad:

If this sort of thing makes you angry, maybe should should switch off the computer and go outside for a nice walk to calm down.

Plug your phone in, put it in DFU mode. iTunes will tell you there's a phone in recovery, restore back to newest official OS (5.1.1 in this case). You need to be a developer to install the betas on your phone... hence being asked for one when you try and set it up.

I'll get right on that.

Not to mention all the idiots giving developers 1 star reviews because their app is buggy on a Beta whose primary purpose is to allow developers time to get their apps ready for the release.
