It wouldn't hurt to make it optional, though.Apple likes keeping customization minimalistic and simple by not overdoing it with things like live wallpapers.

I rather have live icons. Gears turning on the Settings App, GPS dot moving on the Maps App etc
I love the Windows OS. Apple's is boring and it always has been the same. Can't wait to see what iOS 6 brings in the fall..Yeah I know Microsoft did it first, but I don't like that UI. Rather see it implemented in iOS.
Getting the Lumia 900 after using iPhones and 1 Android (GS2) it will take alot for me to go back.Yeah I know Microsoft did it first, but I don't like that UI. Rather see it implemented in iOS.
First but ugly = you didn't do it right.

WP is as fluid if not more fluid than iOS in my experience. It does have nice animations and what not, but I like the iOS fluidness and ecosystem. I think the new iPhone will improve upon iOS 6's features though.
It doesn't look good.
What are live wallpapers?![]()
Then whats the point of having a wallpaper if there are no benefit to having one? It's all for looks & personalization and I think Apple's OS lacks that in comparison to Android by far.
Annoying pieces of artwork that hurt your eyes and make it hard for you to see your icons.
Livewallpapers have never hurt my eyes. They are an awesome option to have. My iphone owning friends pretend not to be interested in them, but I know they wish they could have them. Having variety and being able to customize your device is SWEET!!
