Do you think it was a worthwhile upgrade like iOS 5? Or was this just a half finished update trying to come out in time to welcome iPhone 5?

Works great for me and wifi is defiantly not broke for me on my 4S

I'm torn on the subject.

Maps is so much worse it's not even funny and I used to rely a lot on map.app. However, I still consider iOS 6 to be a huge improvement over 5 and wouldn't want to be stuck on iOS 5.

So far i like it better the iOS5, and i never really used the old Maps program (used waze or motionx) so there really has not been any downside.

All of that being said, iOS5 plus JB was better than iOS6 but that is not a fair comparison.

Prefer iOS5, new maps are bad,
New stores are very slow,
You can't gift app anymore
New music app is ugly (IMHO)
New iTunes match implementation is complicated and less functional

I wouldn't say fail but it certainly does not offer me any features that I'm falling down in love with.

Unlike others I think maps is ok and is going to get better but google maps is superior. There's nothing there for me, but it came with my iPhone 5 and its ok.

Terrible. Wifi is completely broken.
So I'm not alone? YAYY! (I havent looked into the problem yet) But I've noticed my i4 drops wifi at random. Also, my imessage-ing has been on the fritz, taking upwards of a half hour to send at times. not sure if thats ios6 however.

My iPhone 4 feels like new (fast) again with iOS 6.
:( I wish i could say that! while I didnt really lose any performance, it doesnt seem that way. Few bugs + no performance boost = perceived performance loss.

all in all, im on the fence.

Resounding success, I'd say.

It's always a great day when Apple gives us new features, and I love the stuff they put in here.

Even moreso how seamlessly it works with my Macs!

How is that even in question? Between the numerous bugs being reported, new features with glaring omissions, and various inconsistencies they have now added throughout the UI, I think it's fairly obvious iOS 6 wasn't ready for the big stage.

I only have an iPod Touch with this on so don't find it too bad (though I preferred iOS 5)

The only bad things for me are horizontal scrolling in the store & Apples obsession with making things white/grey, hate the colours in the music player

updated my ipad but not phone. It's nothing spectacular, in fact I find my overall experience about the same, without good maps. It's really nothing innovative.
