So 20 minutes after release the thread was posted complaining about battery going down 10% in an hour.
Hmm, let me guess, your Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab perform much better???
Sounds like we have a Samsung marketing rep in the house! Welcome!
I'm a real customer with a real problem.

A user on a popular Apple discussion forum, macrumors.com, has reported that his battery life was made "worse" by an incremental update to Apple's iPhone software, iOS 7.0.3, which was released to the public several minutes before the report was issued.
The report, combining extensive speculative research and unscientific testing, has determined that the phone loses 13% of its charge per hour.
Apple could not be reached for comment on the situation, which effects approximately 100% of the one man study. Light chuckling could be heard in the background at Apple's Cupertino, CA headquarters before the phone was hung up.
Looks like the news services have picked this up...
this is complete horse crap. i cant believe they would even "report" this as if its affecting thousands. kinda jumping the gun on this one. battery life is usually cruddy after an install. i mean....."a user". one single person reported this, as if its a complete representative of the whole.
Whoosh!
You may want to read that "news report" again.
I'm going to test it today, but I left my phone 6 hrs unused overnight and battery is still at 100%.
Went to bed around 2AM, my 5s was on 100%. When I looked at 7:30AM, it was still 100%!
Went to bed around 2AM, my 5s was on 100%. When I looked at 7:30AM, it was still 100%!
My phone died at 6% today after the reboot. Better than dying at 30% I guess. But during ios6 my phone would die at 1%
Still have excessive battery drain with 7.0.3 ... 4 hrs and half
Not happy at all
What gives? I lost 13% in one hr and phone was in my pocket the whole time. 100 down to 87 after the update

On a more serious note, nobody can answer your question without way more information.
What are your settings? If you have something that's constantly using GPS, have AirDrop enabled, etc., then it's understandable why battery consumption will be severe.
