But how? I only know the way via settings/reset everything, and when doing that it asks me to activate the device again, which is not possible.

True, I forgot your device is not registerd. In that case, there's no way I know of to do this.

will it be possible to use the 7.1 beta backup with 7.1 once it's officially released? should be, shouldnt it?

Yes you will be able to do that.

cool thx :) I just hope they release it rather sooner than later, I got so used to the smooth animations again, plus I find it just scandalous to ship a brand new device like the ipad air with obvious software bugs like those closing gestures..

Ummmm im sure i havent flagged that many emails #

downgraded back to 7.0.4 too many bugs and b2 is taking too long to come out. I'm sticking to works best right now. A few little upgrades I liked about 7.1b1 like fewer crashes and random resprings and the battery life was impressive. I did like the snappier animations and the option of reducing motion even including multitasking menu. Who reckons the final version will come out before the end of this year?

Highly doubtful. If we're lucky we'll see beta 2 this week, with beta 3 probably coming early January. I expect public release of 7.1 to be out mid January to early February.

What are the "too many bugs" to push for an actual downgrade, out of curiosity?

Spotify crashed on it consistently, syncing wasn't functioning properly. A few interface glitches here and there. Siri is broken.
