Yes, it is fixed![]()
The globe icon is really oy there if you have other languages/keyboards set up, in which case (since you enabled them for some reason) the icon would be of some use to you.
As for predictive text, for most it learns fairly well so that they don't have to change much even when they type very quickly. Could it have better controls or be better overall? Perhaps, but that doesn't mean it's bad for most.
Its not like what you have on that screenshot, but there is some predictive text when you are typing a (somewhat longer) word usually and a suggested one will appear before you even finish to suggest the right one so that you can hit space and it will put it in for you. There is no predictive text in iOS like you see above my keyboard. I assume you're talking about auto correction.
Sounds like something is doing something on your phone. Some process/app is running and doing something. Try quitting out of all your apps and restarting the phone. If that doesn't work try resetting all your network connections if not all settings perhaps. On my 5S and 7.1, I'm seeing significant battery drain, and an extremely frequent spiny-dervish next to the WiFi logo (usually means loading network activity), even when I'm not downloading anything.
Any suggestions?
What keyboard lag? And what about it?So about that keyboard lag
YAY.
It might be a very minor bug, but once I noticed it on my 5S I just can't get my eyes off it again. Ack.
What keyboard lag? And what about it?
Cant say I've noticed that and this is coming from someone who immediately noticed that ever so slightly longer animations and tiny delays in them.If you compare iOS 6 (or previous version) and iOS 7 keyboard carefully, you will find that when you release a key after pressing it, the enlarged key image in iOS 7 will stay on screen a tiny little bit longer than that of iOS 6. I think Apple did this intentionally thinking this will help user better recognize which key they hit.
But personally I prefer the old implementation in that it gave me a clean, pure mechanical and responsive feeling while the the new leaves me the impression that the system is constantly lagging behind my input and thoughts.
I did this comparison using my iPhone 5 where I have both iOS 6 and iOS 7 apps installed.
Hopefully the next iOS 7.1 beta has changes to Calendar. I don't want to see a full page of my free time, I want to know what appointments/events I have in just a simple glance.
It's similar but not the same as being able to use the monthly calendar to quickly jump around dates you are interested in and quickly see a list of things that day (vs. scrolling around a list looking for particular dates).Press the search button in the Calendar app, it shows you all your upcoming events in a list.
I'm presuming thats what you meant?

Haven't experienced it before. Not sure if others have and what might be attributed to it.Is it fixed.

Just do a google search for iOS 7 keyboard lag.
**** is terrible.
I've seen some reports of it but it doesn't really seem to be something really consistent or really widespread, so hard to say what it really might be tied to.Just do a google search for iOS 7 keyboard lag.

What about iPad (switch app animations, five finger pinch out of application animation, iMessage send animation, multitasking scrolling animation) ?

I speak , read and write in both french and english so being able to switch keyboards it a must as far as I'm concerned. And I really like the Emoji keyboard![]()
