Ah ok. So what's stopping another ad hoc one by launch of iOS 7?

The launch cycle of unicode and whether or not Apple has time or resources to implement it. I wouldn't hold my breath. Unicode moves slowly, implementation always lag behind.

Also have you noticed even when you nicknames off and you go to the Messages app and tap on a message. On the top it still says your friends nickname?

I'm liking the notifications in the new iTunes beta. I wonder if we will get them in iOS 7 too?

I mean it doesn't have to send the notifications when the phone is off, but when it's on and I'm using it, that would be pretty useful.

The signal bubbles seem smaller on my iP5 in beta 4, is it just me or does anyone else see a difference?

Battery life seems to be a bit worse than Beta 3 (OTA update, not clean install). I was hoping it'd be a little improved.

Control center's first row with Bluetooth is a bit smaller. The first row used to be the size of the dock.

Seems the same as what it's like in screenshots and videos of control center on Apple's iOS 7 web site, which were like that before beta 4.

Safari is indeed much snappier on my iPad 3 when in comes to clicking on the address bar to edit it.

In previous betas it took almost 2 seconds until the address bar was editable, and the keyboard lagged. It's now near instant and the typing is very smooth.

Phuu.... yes. I have the exact same problem. Didn't arrive immediately after upgrading did it? Was wondering if my phone was at fault or if it was beta 3.

Did you upgrade to BETA 4? If so did this fix it for you? Hasn't for me :S

Dictionary

The dictionary doesn't work again however the interface is tweaked. We now have the option to add dictionaries by downloading them or something.

Also not sure if this is new but there's a beautiful fade transition when sliding to power off

I don`t like the little arrow afore "slide to unlock". Home screen became asymmetrical.

Users which used iPhone before iOS7 shouldn`t have unlock problems at all.

For the new users Apple should implement some kind of "tutorial mode" like it done in the "Cut the rope" game.



Once user does the action right, the tutorial tips stops showing. I think i would be cool.🙄

I quite like the arrow. What do you mean by asymmetrical?

Judging by the amount of people who complained on here about the slide to unlock, it seems that even pro users were confused.

You're not suggesting a shortcut to the phone app? Surely this would be passcode protected otherwise it's a security risk. Might as well unlock and launch the phone app from the home screen.

It`s only a suggestion. There can be another app or the same camera app but in the video mode for example, a timer, a calculator.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but here are the other items I noticed:

1. Smaller font option now available
1.1. Smaller view of notifications too in lock screen before just two email notification eats up the entire screen

2. Compass has a different view. Instead of completing two circles to calibrate its just one now and the other view from 2 white circles now just plain black and white field

3. Photos app is much faster

Is it just me or does maps rotate better as your driving. I think the option was there before, but it never really worked right for me.

Siri works Battery life back to normal

Siri was dead for me on beta 3. and Battery much worse. All better now on beta 4

Where? Changed "Text Size" in "General", but the notifications are still huge...
