I have a burning question that I've been wondering about since yesterday. Now that there are live wallpapers in iOS 7. Are people going to make live wallpapers for iPhone. Just a question, idk if they are. Cause I would like to see Android's Phase Beam live wallpaper on my iOS 7 iPhone. (Admit it..that wallpaper is pretty awesome)

AirDrop

No one every replied, so I'll ask again. I was wondering if when other people turned on their AirDrop if it also turned on their Bluetooth. It has done that to mine, but I thought AirDrop used wi-fi. Does this mean that there is a possibility of bluetooth transfers?

I've also noticed that there's a place in settings that is supposed to show apps that are allowed to transfer files via bluetooth.

One thing I have been thinking about is AirDrop which uses WiFi direct.
Apple did NOT mention anything about the AppleTV.
They update the AirPort Extreme and TimeCapsule but not the AirPort Express.

Now that they are integrating WiFi direct services such as AirDrop *maybe* we will finally get the mythical AirPlay Direct service.

Would play into their gaming initiative.

Would be great and would instantly go out and buy 60 Apple TVs for projectors if they didn't have to sit on a network.

Yeah I thought that was weird.. could be a bug or could be that iOS uses a different version of Airdrop (maybe why they didn't mention OSX compatibility?). I doubt they'll allow straight up bluetooth transfers as Airdrop is more controlled and much faster.

Hey guys,
Just wondering what the notification centre "tab" looks like in ios7.
Meaning the little tab that comes down when swiping for NC during a game or certain apps which you then have to pull down a second time to get to the NC. A little thing I know but just curious :)

Its now a downward arrow. Like the one you see in the Lock Screen

I realized I put Airplay last time too. :/ Sorry. It's about AirDrop. When I turn it on, it turns on my bluetooth. My question is if it's supposed to do that, because I thought AirDrop worked over wi-fi. Or does it also work over bluetooth?

Airdrop can make use of wifi and bluetooth.

ETA: I wonder why airdrop is not available on the 4s beta.

I hope they allow it for at least pictures and videos. I never realized how useful that was until my friends where I live now use it. They don't trade songs or stuff like that, just pictures and videos. Unfortunately, they all have Samsung devices. I'm the only one with an iPhone, so bluetooth transfer capability would be awesome. (I'm currently living in the Middle East.)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but you can't delete individual messages in the Messages app, you can only get rid of entire conversations.
I've found that in addition to pushing and holding on an individual message, you can also get to the "more" button (where you delete individual messages) by just double tapping on a message. It's much faster then waiting for the "push and hold" action to happen.

Is it just me or does ios7 seem to be a learning os? The more I use an app, the smoother the transition and animation from the icon into the app becomes. I know it's a small thing but its noticeable IMO.

Wasn't something mentioned about the OS keeping track of how many times you use an app and categorizing frequently used apps and what not?

I believe so, I didn't think it would reach as far as actually affecting the opening animation and making the transition from icon to front page more seamless. Like I say, just a little thing, but a nice touch.

I'm wondering why you would want to delete the music or videos apps.

The options are there in Usage.

Any ideas?

Not sure if passbook has it too, as it's unused on my phone.

Have you folks been able to get AirDrop to work? Haven't had any luck. WiFi & Bluetooth on, tried Contacts Only & Everyone but no one shows up. Devices are three 5's & one 4S all on AT&T.
