Haven't seen many changes in beta 2 or at least ones that I were looking for. The music app is still lacking in terms of no play all from an artist or genre still narrows down to an album an only plays the content of a single album and stops
Certainly not everything (and in some cases most things) that everyone is looking for, but quite a few things were fixed, adjusted, and/or added: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1601305/

In beta 2 Reminders functionality has been changed to revert in part to the old iOS 6 Reminders, for the worse IMO:

When entering a reminder:

Beta 1 - when / where / who links appeared above the keyboard giving fast access to, for example, a date / time picker.

Beta 2: the only way to add meta-information to a reminder is by tapping an i icon, through to the same crowded sheet as old reminders, where another tap is required to open the date or geofence picker. A step back.

Other changes

The list of lists doesn't show a sneak preview of reminders in any list any more, just says how many reminders are in the list.

The smart-list that only shows Scheduled reminders from all lists is no longer listed in the list list. List. It's accessed from an Alarm icon at the top right instead.

It's been swapped with the New List feature, which was previously accessed by a + in the top right. It is now a persistent faux-list appearing at the top of the list list, tapping on which creates a blank list.

Reminders notifications appear with the check circle taking the colour that you assigned to the list it comes from. Neat.

Has there been any change in behavior when you have multiple conversations in Messages with the same contact but through different phone numbers?

It's always been very frustrating that it doesn't display the type (e.g. Home, Work, etc.) automatically in these instances. Instead you have to split them out to multiple contacts.

Someone post a picture of the times stamp in Messages.

Also, can you hide purchased apps from the Purchased section of the App Store?

thank you.

Edit: Supposed to be in all caps to show my excitement. Macrumors said no.

Genuinely curious: What is the advantage of searching your purchased list vs. just searching the app store in general?

What I would love to see is paid/unpaid filters, including IAP.

Can the OP of this thread help the OP of OSX Mavericks all the little things and add full list of highlights and features like in this thread? thanks

Shawn

Really liked the w/w/w in beta 1. Wish they left it, however the colour circle looks great on the lockscreen.

Siri asks how to pronounce names

Siri asked me how to pronounce my wife's name when I asked her to "tell me who my wife is"

I dont remember this in iOS6 or iOS7 beta1

Pretty nice feature instead of having to phonetically spell it out in contact card.

Alas not for the Australian language setup yet. Siri did it once yesterday afternoon, but now Siri seems to have had a slight frontal lobotomy and regressed a bit :(
