Duplicates

Blue dots for updates and new music controls in lock screen appear twice each on the list. :confused:

Also, this wasn't mentioned in the first post of this thread, but its a new feature of iOS 7: You can add individual mailbox folders to the main mailboxes screen in the stock Mail app (click edit, and add the folders from your mail accounts). In iOS 6, you could only have inboxes on the main mailboxes screen.

Update with beta 2, you now get notifications for new mail in each mailbox folder (previously, notifications only worked for mail incoming to the inbox).

For example: I have my gmail set up so that MacRumors emails bypass my inbox and get sent to a MacRumors folder. In iOS 6, I would have to go under my Gmail account and scroll to my MacRumors folder to get to that new mail. In iOS 7, I am able to add that MacRumors folder directly to the main screen, so I no longer have to go searching for it. With beta 1, I would not get any popup notification that there was new mail in the MacRumors folder. With beta 2, I do get those popup notifications.

One of the biggest things my dad moans about in iOS is his hatred of the photos app. He says he just wants to be able to add photos to an album right on his phone instead of only having the option to make a new album. Anyone know if this will be addressed in iOS 7? Anyone with the beta who can test this?

Facing a serious lag issue wherever the keyboard input is concerned... Phone gets unresponsive for ten seconds and then types all that I put in together... Anyone else facing this...? Need serious help...!

Not only are my apps not updating I cannot use the ones showing that they need updates.

I have tried manually updating individually and updating all. Nothing works.

What am I missing?

and another question since this is my first ios beta. Can you update to beta 2 automatically or do you have to go through everything the same as with beta 1

Also check to be sure you have NOT enable iTunes Match. If so, disable it.

I found something interesting. I was on Beta 1...doing a few things. I received the software update for Beta 2. I didnt even press download. When I was ready to install it...it was already downloading for me. Automatically. Idk if thats weird lol

Happened even with iOS 6 updates as I recall.

My phone gets really hot too... And I'm a moderate user... It gets especially crazy hot when its on charging a long time or the wifi hotspot is on...

That's interesting. You're right, the phone does indeed get hot when you charge it, but my phone has never reached a point where it would be too hot to be completely functional. I've luckily never encountered that.

What phone do you have?

No my phone hasn't gone unusable hot yet... And after I hardbooted it once, it is quite cooler... I have the 4S... :)

Love this;

Haven't seen many changes in beta 2 or at least ones that I were looking for. The music app is still lacking in terms of no play all from an artist or genre still narrows down to an album an only plays the content of a single album and stops
